Dasample Glace Verb is a free piece of software that is available as a VST plug-in. It is a few years old, as I used to run it when I had Acid Pro on PC, and no longer do so since I switched to Pro Tools LE . As far as I can remember, I didn't have any installation issues at all. As long as you're properly equipped with the right platform and don't encounter any compatibility issues, you should be able to download and install this plug-in within a matter of minutes. Learning the plug-in is really simple, as everything is set up nicely and it isn't convoluted at all. The parameters that the GlaceVerb has include those for left and right pan, distance, stereo, room size, decay, damping, color, and dry and wet mixes. It's a pretty straight forward room modeling plug-in, and even if you don't have much experience with reverb plug-ins, this should be an easy enough place to start for any user. I haven't ever had a need to check out a manual for this plug-in, so I can't say anything about it.


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

When I was running Acid Pro, I was running Dasample Glaceverb plug-in in it and on a Hewlett Packard Pavilion dv8000 lap top with 2 GB of RAM and a 3.0 Ghz processor. It's not too hard to see after using it for a little while that this plug-in won't take up too much of your processing power. The system I was running it on definitely wasn't one of the best and it still did the job fine. However, it's hard to say how well a piece of software will run on a system without trying it, so I'd recommend just downloading it and seeing for yourself.


OVERALL OPINION

While maybe not the most realistic sounding or most in depth reverb plug-in, for being free, I've got nothing negative to say about the this freeware. It's incredibly easy to use, and users of all types should be able to catch on quickly here.

Fast, stable, not clik on parameter change, it seems to work on a rack hardware so it's instant and stable ...

OVERALL OPINION

I downloaded it this morning, I made a series of tests, it is monstrous, never seen a software reverb that sounds like that!!
presets are enough for most cases, clear and precise, the sound is just great, is stable, fast, instant, the settings are precise and ample, in short, that of happiness, a download of emergency, is more gratos § § §

I think I'll put in the closet any other reverbs DX and VST, I finally found THE REVERB ... And believe me, I tested a bunch!

Simple Installation (file copy).
No conflict.
Nice interface, lots of parameters to some exotic names.

Easy to use, any possible criticism ...

I will not my config that uses very little reverb, it will run even on a modest machine.
Perfect stability.

OVERALL OPINION

Well then, if there was only to have reverb, it would be this one.
The sound is beautiful, we rule in a jiffy, the result is always beautiful, inventive music.
There was no phase problems or claustrophobia that sometimes found on reverb (very) expensive. Nothing like airing a mix.

I also love the Ambience SmartElectronix (more versatile, but a gulf of consumption). I totally my heavy reverb Waves and TC is an understatement!

Essential, but in addition, for 0 euros, its just a dream!

Surprisingly little greedy for rverb. But I do not care discipline, the era of dual core is a hard knee to a pc lol

OVERALL OPINION

The advice is simple and clear: for me is THE rverbe. Music, never vulgar, never mtallique, custom settings are obvious.

I put 9 for one small default: the lack of precision of the assays Wet and Dry, I prfr faders (yes I'm boring)

Joke part, this is the best I've ever rverbe plug in t given to hear (even against the Waves R or a Verb Lexicon), and it would be worth even if it was worth 400 euros. But it is worth ZrO. There's crazy, I tell you ...
