U.S. console 48 mic inputs / line symmetric with inserts and direct outs,
- Two internal power supplies, amplifiers near Burr-Brown
- 48 V, phase, adjustable high-pass diode setting function key with LED insert,
- 4 band EQ 2 fixed shelve or bell and two semi param with two choices of cue
- Aux 10 (10 monos monos and 3 or 4 stereo)
- 8 VCA's
- Mute 4 memories

UTILIZATION

- Very simple,
the two things are a bit annoying:
1 / no diode on assignments vca, mute and LR which suddenly make copies of the console a bit tedious and risky if you do not check twice (at least)
2 / No actual audio group making it difficult to insert audio on a real bus to external device, such a stereo compressor on a stereo bus on vocals or drum on a bus!
biensur it can be done via start for stereos that have insert, but it is not practical and out of the fast logic to use live.

for the rest nothing to say, the console and well proportioned, not too big, not too heavy for a 48 channels analog!

SOUNDS

This is the strong point of this console, the signal to noise ratio is exceptional in this range, the dynamics are worthy of an inheritance, the pre amp and EQ is perfect for any type of use, rock the classic, I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the audio console.
even with a simplified EQ over large models, we are never in an embarrassing situation work, we mix quickly, and the response is fast, efficient, sound is full to master,
it's a real mixer with excellent summation.

OVERALL OPINION

A great product especially in a market segment often find themselves in difficult or prestigious products offer very "light" that are already expensive enough yet to see really poor average quality !!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

I find most interesting in terms of its pure a Soundcraft MH4 although the ergonomics of the latter is more complete (VCA memory, audio + Group to, true VU meters etc ...)

but in terms of the PDB is over for me!
