Winter NAMM 2012 News
Overall this is probably the best simulator out there. I can't believe how realistic it is. These are expensive but absolutely worth it to any organ player who doesn't have the means to tow an organ from gig to gig. I absolutely highly recommend this to almost any keys player who wants to get into playing organ, as it's really the next best thing.
All in all, the Clavia Nord Wave is a top notch synth. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a top end analog modeling synthesizer as this will get the job done for you. I would also recommend comparing it to the Clavia Nord Lead as it is in the same vein, but the Wave probably has more features because of the software aspect that allows ...
Overall, I think that the Clavia Nord Modular G2 is a great little synth. I love synths that are small and easily portable and I don't really think for sounds like this that you even need more than three octaves - at least I know that I don't. The price is definitely reasonable and to me this is the perfect synth to bring to shows as a supplem...
What thing do you like most/least about it? I like the incredibly accurate tones that this keyboard can achieve; it puts synths to shame for the most part. Did you try many other models before getting this one? I've tried some other models but didn't really like any of them enough to be interested. Once we got this at th...
I first used the Clavia Nord C3 about a year ago and I was instantly impressed with the palette of organ sounds made available within this single instrument. This is a perfect organ for those who want to get all sorts of organ sounds during a live show or even for recording if you don't have access to the original instruments that this emulates...
I've been using the Clavia Nord Lead 2 for around two years and to me it is one of the best keyboards out there for getting analog synth sounds. It is convenient to have a ton of different synth sounds that you can store digitally and free yourself from the pitfalls of analog gear. The price of the Clavia Nord Lead 2 is set right as it is a high...
I can lift up my modwheel a couple of mm.. so i guess i should open it up and check so it feels alright soon.. never heard any roumours of a nord lead that has acted strange except for this little modwheel thing.. which probably isn't any real prob since it been like that a couple of months and it still works perfectly (i use it almost every day...
Nice build quality. Metal case, wooden pitch stick and stone mod wheel. Highly reliable. I have owned quite a number of synths and the Nordlead 2 does most of what I want a synth to do. Add a sampler and a nice analogue bass synth and you're off! Originally posted on FutureProducers.com Posted by: Unknown ( 6-, 2003)
I do love this thing, but to give it a 10 compared to the current crop of synths would be a bit out of wack. I only use the NL2 for heavy grinding sounds, and for those sounds, I would give it a 10 for sure. Originally posted on FutureProducers.com Posted by: Unknown ( 5-, 2003)
The best choice is to me a waldorf Q complement.
