Characteristics
The Stratus is a polyphonic synthesizer across the keyboard all the notes together if you will, but the systm octave divider: So if an agreement plate (going a C major) and that trying to make notes on a little higher or a little lower (there are only 4 octaves which is good but not great) and all the notes held in the agreement will emerge that ds' we receive a (one C, one half or soil). But even when there is wood on the flanks (and VERY nice). Note also that a PSE is dead, but he promne in cart without flinching.
There are some synth and some organ (4 pulls) mixable together.
The organ is very cheesy but fun especially with two LFO and detune oscillators, and then you can make bends with the knob, which is excluded with a Vox Continental or a Hammond M series (we to console myself).
The synthesis is simple: ADSR, filter cutoff, rsonance, we can even reverse it.
Two waveforms, sawtooth and square, and I want to draw your attention to the fact that my knowledge this is the only synth THE WORLD that toggles between the two forms of air every time you touch a note, it is not trivial even when a solo that moves from one note to another by a sawtooth a square. No one had done before, and nobody has done it since it's weird ... even when It can synchronize the oscilloscope (but not all of Prophet), or dtuner (and can be very funny or very funny or, how we dpend Mon or the alternating from one octave to another (new wave effect guaranteed, but the dubious rgularit Prilleux clock makes the idea of running a bass line of Missing Persons to wedge his group above).

Le Stratus est un synthétiseur polyphonique sur tout le clavier toutes les notes ensemble si on veut, mais c'est le système de diviseur d'octave: donc si on plaque un accord (allez un Do majeur)et qu'on essaye de faire des notes par dessus un peu plus haut ou un peu plus bas ( il n'y a que 4 octaves ce qui est bien mais pas top) et bien toutes les notes tenues dans l'accord vont ressortir dès qu'on en touchera une (un do, un mi ou un sol). Mais quand même il y a du bois sur les flans (et çà c'est TRES beau). A noter aussi qu'il pèse un âne mort, mais qu'il se promène en caddie sans broncher.
Il y a une partie synthé et une partie orgue (4 tirettes) mixables ensemble.
L'orgue est très cheesy mais rigolo surtout avec du LFO et les 2 oscillateurs detunés, et puis on peut faire des bends avec la molette, ce qui est exclu avec un Vox continental ou un Hammond série M (on se console comme on peut).

Deux formes d'ondes; dents de scie et carrée, et la je tiens à attirer votre attention sur le fait qu'à ma connaissance c'est le seul synthé AU MONDE qui permet d'alterner entre les 2 formes d'ondes à chaque fois qu'on touche une note, c'est quand même pas banal un solo qui passe d'une note à l'autre d'une dent de scie à un carré. Personne ne l'avait fait avant, et personne ne l'a refait depuis c'est quand même bizarre... On peut synchroniser les oscillos ( mais çà fait pas du tout Prophet), ou les détuner (et la çà peut être ou très bizarre ou très rigolo, çà dépend comment on est luné) ou encore les faire alterner d'une octave à l'autre (effet new wave garanti, mais la régularité douteuse de l'horloge rend périlleuse l'idée de faire tourner une ligne de basse à la Missing Persons pour caler son groupe dessus).

Utilization

C'est très simple à programmer, de toutes façons quoi que l'on fasse on arrive toujours à se rapprocher du son d'un accordéon malade avec plus ou moins d'attaque, ce qui lui a valu plus d'un coup de latte dans sa jeunesse (et dans la mienne) quand il refusait obstinément de faire des sons à la Trevor Horn.

Overall Opinion
This is my first synth (thank you Dad, thank you Mom), he stayed ten years the cellar, he came out a bit sick, now that two APRS synth-doktor passs be better but it goes over DEFINITIONS envelope are not like before (finite values of 10 o on the attack we had time to cook pasta before it happens).
It is rank I do most often used, but it remains for me the best synth in the world that we will see the day I hit one and we would make a video, and everyone would see and say wow! this is so cool synth, I want one like that, but there would more people would commit suicide and to have and would not because that besides me, who could keep a calf same?

C'est mon premier synthé (merci Papa, merci Maman), il a dormi dix ans à la cave, il en est ressorti un peu malade, maintenant après que deux synth-doktors soient passés dessus il va mieux mais sont enveloppe n'est définitivement plus comme avant (fini les valeurs de 10 sur l'attaque où on avait le temps de faire cuire des pâtes avant que le son n'arrive).
Il est rangé, je ne m'en sert plus souvent, mais il reste pour moi le plus beau synthé du monde celui qu'on verra le jour ou j'aurais un hit et qu'on ferait une vidéo, et que tout le monde la verrait et dirait waouh !!! il est trop cool ce synthé, j'en veux un pareil, mais là il n'y en aurait plus et des gens se suicideraient pour en avoir et çà servirait à rien parce qu'à part moi , qui pourrait garder un veau pareil ?
