Ibanez IBZ10B

I purchased this product from musicians friend 3 years ago when i first started out.I paid $75 for it plus shipping.

I really like the fact that for 75 dollars i can have an amp thats good enough for bass practice and plying woth a guitar. I also like the versatillaty of the amp. i have been able to use it as a back up for 2 years at small gigs. for 75 bucjs its a great deal.

the thing that bugs me the most about this amp is that it has terrible sound if you turn the volume ablove 5 or 6. so if you are just looking for an amp to use in your bedroom its ok but otherwise it doesnt work well. but for $75 what do u expect??

the construction of this amp is great! i have dropped it numerous times and it has never broke. the corner guards are really nice even the amp is really light. it has never cracked and has a few minor scratches but nothing big. it has good quality

overall i believe that if you are a starter this amp isnt bad at all. plus you dont have to pay anything outragous! 8)

10 Watts.

What connection?
An instrument input, line input, a headphone output. Note that the power cord is not removable.

What are the settings, effects?
Controls Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble.

The combo looks solid but I will not try to sit on my 65 kg. The potentiometers are correct. Note that settings panel is pressed and that to connect a jack with an angled base is difficult.

This combo is only suitable for practice at home alone whatever the style. It is very neutral sound level, the bass is a bit messy (with a bowl of this size, ca be explained), the mids are not too bad.

What kind of sound you get and with what settings ("crystalline", "bold", ....)?
I tend to fall low to prevent the sound saturates. You have to think out the master to push the sound "breathe" a little and tilt the amp for better dissemination.

What are the sounds you prefer, you hate?
As this amp offers a sound, difficult to answer. But even with a distortion connected buttocks it holds up and delivers a quite acceptable. For 60 €, you do not necessarily expect better so we can not be disappointed.

Good. For 60 €, you have a receiver that allows you to train at home, or you can leave the attic, lugging with you to get a shovel test, or can be used for a stereo setup at home for fun a little. In short, it is the extra combo, nothing more, nothing less.

This is a transistor amplifier of 10 watts for bass. It has an instrument input and output phone. As for settings, there are 4 knob EQ (low, mid, treble, presence) and one volume. For the price, it's pretty good ...

I use it for a little over a year and I am very happy. It is very small and can be brought everywhere (on vacation, at a party with friends ...) but relatively quickly reached its limits in terms of power. I had not tried other models before buying it but I have had the opportunity to try other since and in price / quality ratio, it is almost unbeatable. This choice I would do without hesitation and I recommend it to all bass players beginners or those who seek a little amp cheap and fun to play alone.
