I mounted these strings on my Jazz Bass Aerodyne because I wanted to remove clicks and fret noises produced by Roundwound strings, this without having to mount flat nets "classic". The first sensation was very rude because when new, these strings have touched very rough. To give you an idea, it seems to touch a rusty wire. But after a sudden fast freight and a few hours of play (more precisely, I played 45 minutes for three nights), they become soft to the touch and has a feel normal flatwound. Personally I do not know if they are actually brighter than normal flatwounds because it's been two years since I have not seen up close. In any case his finger for me. I just started to put me mediator and what style strings feel of the game is a bit confusing for me (lack of familiarity may be), but it sounds good too. The big plus point for me is that I have no extraneous noise ropes Roundwound original Fender. When I want a little more shine, I compensate with the EQ of my amp. The color is nice too; they have something that pulls on the dull gray: a black bass: it throws! In summary, I adhere.
