Winter NAMM 2012 News
Overall, I am very glad we chose to use this mic for several recordings, it has made our mixes sound great without a lot of effort on the engineer’s part and its been a joy to use every chance i get now. The low end cut off switch is an interesting addition. The band I am in had been smiling as well I have clarity texturing. So when I soften th...
I like the fresh sound the mic gives when recording vocals, and it leaves the voice of the rapper/singer in its natural sound. I think the se 2200a gives the best quality you can get for its price, and i would really recommend it for recording rap vocals.
I only used the SE Electronics SE1000 one time about a year or so ago. I used it to record lead vocals on a demo for another artist, not myself, as was engineering rather than performing. This is a mic on the lower end of the spectrum, but has a nice sound for something of this price. It's diaphragm is nice and large, holding the capsule stea...
I've used a pair of the SE Electronics SE4 for recording in a home studio and was definitely happy with the sounds that I was able to get from them. I only used them for two applications during recording - one being for recording drum overheads and the other was for recording an acoustic guitar. I found that they worked great for getting a ste...
I've used the SE Electronics Titan a handful of times in a home studio setting and was overall pretty impressed with not only the sound of the mic but also with the cool look that it has. It is definitely something that will impress the clients which of course matters! The microphone has a nice and clean tone and is probably best suited for voc...
I've been using it for one year. It's very convenient for demos. The sound quality is quite good. I use it sometimes to record guitars. The main advantage is that you don't need a mic preamp: just plug and record! Always handy and very convenient for mobile applications (you can take it anywhere with a notebook). I use it with Cuba...
The attached greenhouse system works well, the sound is good, that price has nothing to say DPA is lighter and more compact must offer better sound quality, but hey less affordable, it's not a bad innovation from the micro up to the guitarist, is the day and night ...
I have not tried all the mic at least 200 euros but a few and he immediately distanced c by far he even walk my old TLM 103 so that since I sold the neumann and even if today I used it more than HE has made me a lot of services! in short a very balanced mic bluffing nothing to say in light of the sale price is a matter !!!!! ...
I use it for 2 years and I've used a lot of other mics (M149, U89, 414, 4050, MC834 ...). I find it quite versatile, although most of the voices, as different instruments. Small defect, its size, though to impress, but not necessarily practical when multiple microphone sources. Very good value for money, especially a suspension of quality...
This is the SM81 and less expensive with a little more breath, so when the gain is adjusted and especially for the live, Nickel.
