P85 The piano is a piano base. He has only 10 sounds with a dual mode and some reverb.
The connection is what is most basic. No USB port. In no way out.
In short, it's not a piano gadget. The pedal is not great

UTILIZATION

Touch is good, I find it a little deeper. (Sinks down a lot) but it does not interfere too much. Of course as you would expect the button will not respond the same way that acoustic piano. But it is good among this range of digital piano.
The basic configuration is very accessible. (A button for sound, the volume ...) It's a bit more complex when you venture into some other options that we offer this piano. (Eg press metronome + demo + some Torch keyboard) Fortunately the manual is very clear.
In terms of interfaces noon, I did not try so I can not tell you

SOUNDS

The yamaha p85 digital piano synthesizer and not a gadget. So there is little sound and can effect. Against it by some good sounds. The piano is a really impressive. That's the point.
Then the piano 2 is not bad, softer, less realistic. The Piano E, I do not like but it must be appropriate for some style. I do not play with the organs and harpsichords then I did not know but they look correct. The violin is a gadget for those who love the kitsch dual piano violin. I really like the sound of the vibraphone.

But beware the amplification is very bad. Do not expect to play without a headphone or without the piano leads connected to another amplifier. Indeed, the sound comes out of the amplification is awful. It saturates the third volume. It disappears in the headphones is a real pleasure to play it.

The expression is very good considering the price of the piano.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 weeks or so. It is a very good value for money. What I like most about this piano compared to other brands of pianos in the same range, the sound of a piano. It has a beautiful sound. Otherwise what I like least is its internal amplification and pedal.
I try after purchasing the Korg SP250 which is also a good piano. I think I prefer the feel of the Korg. By the sound is better against the p85. The Korg has a lot of sounds but the piano sounds are not worth those of p85.

Yes it is a very good piano when you're limited by money. I do it again this choice
