It is a 88 keys with ten sounds.
The sustain pedal is provided. 2 MIDI outputs and two audio outputs.
3 non-editable effects. The bare minimum.
Too bad: there is no USB port (it is 2008 ...!!!)

UTILIZATION

The touch keyboard is good. Consistent with Yamaha, a little hard but reliable. It is in line with the P120, P140, P70 etc ...
The config is simple anyway it is a very simple model. It's a bit boring the key combination "Metronome C6 + key" because it is not easy to remember. Buttons on the dash would have been welcome.
The instructions are clear enough.

SOUNDS

The grand piano is a lot. The only problem in my opinion is that the internal amplification 2X6W still insufficient. The sound "farts" no. It's a shame because it takes a little choses.Il is a resonant "plastic". I may quibble, but it is an important criterion for me. But hey .. little difference with the P140 ...!
The effects just get along. The expression is good.
In addition to a piano the other sounds are of little interest to me. I use it anyway for the piano and keyboard teacher.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 weeks.
My favorite character is compact (29.5 cm wide, a record!)
it is really thin and light (less than 12kg!) and it is significant because it's still a real keyboard heavy!.
I tried the Roland FP4 was too gadget for my taste: The piano did not sound terrible, but the lighter touch seemed to agree with me against.
I tried the Kawai ES4. Pffff not much to say so-so, no sense in playing the piano.
I finally tried the P120 (in hand), and P140.

The quality / price is right.
If the P120 was more compact I will have chosen, because it sounds better than my current P140 and P85.

-> You do not have too much in
-> Not too much room in your home
-> Not a very strong back
-> You want a good keyboard heavy with a good touch
-> You are not looking too on the piano sound that comes out of the internal amplifier
THE P85 is for you!
Regards.
