Hello all dabord I do not repeat the description of v in full this table has already ki fbr t /> java 2 / 3 Pitit ke anything to add for me this table is in its vraimment exeptionnelle intuitivitbr /> it is very simple and very functional with a given set of knob per track very enjoyable to play and also a mini crosss fader for the cask to dose and cue / mix
it lacks I think just perfect for etrtre kills for each band as f denon stanton and more recently (though nothing has kil kompris because they put them in the direction movais lol)
if not also the knobs are black and at night it is sometimes dicilcie to see or we have good but just dun little light and good c
on the other hand if small flat for me because I brought him seven times in the repair but this is a lincompetence the store where I bought the and not a gemini ki coz of finding the problem I immediately changed all the cards the mixer and it is apparently the only kil av got back (witness gemini)
Kelker good apart these little problems for me c the table is the most complete ki or at least one ki allows me to mix the best sailing voilo

g essay apeu pr ki tou the models exist at the moment and what I look for in a ke mixer is in the umx9 after there is always more commme component but at the jouabilit execptionnel c and I n anything yet seen as

A mixer with everything you need to begin or simply pursue a career in the world of DJs.

UTILIZATION

Everything is simple, the manual is not completely a thing! functions are easy to use, all the same attention to the top of your use of this table if you move like the bass in your mix, be careful not to confuse the bass with the "PAN", was my case at the beginning because it lies just below the Lower therefore we tend to deceive

SOUNDS

Impecable, equalizer very accurate results, the ideal she did not blush in front of the Pioneer brand despite the lack of effect table

OVERALL OPINION

I've had it 2 months before I had the Behringer DJX 700 (recommended), what I like most is its simple design but very nice to see, value for money is very good, c 'is a competitor!

Highs, mids, low and pans for all three channels. my only complain is the third channel... it can only be one of the following mic/cd/3rd turntable, so if you're using 3 decks NO MIC. Faders and cross fader are top of the line, rotary adjustable cross-fader is much sharper than 3 position input faders. No sampler, no "effects" just mix and scratch!

UTILIZATION

XLR or RCA out, master out, booth out and record out, FIRST CLASS.

Output sound plenty good to hook up to an amplifier for gigs, this mixer is a lot better that it appears, and i have no idea why gemini is discontinuing the umx mixers. I bought an ex-26 and it's non-vca input faders lasted me one freaking month! HOWEVER the umx-5, umx-7 and umx-9 are the real deal if you ask me!

SOUNDS

VCA fader and VCA input faders, top notch, have been using a umx-9 for over a year. Headphone slider picks up some static at the extreme ends when repositioning it, but you don't need to slide it whatsoever to change headphone channels.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought a UMX-7 (since w/a mic i had no third channel with a UMX-9) and old room-mate uses UMX-9 (which still works perfect). Best mixers under $150 USD PERIOD and just as many features than stanton and vestax mixers.

This is basicly what a dj needs. Cut feature for highs, mids and lows. Pan and gain control of all 3 chanels. VU meter for each chanel and for master out. Adjustable cut curve for the upfaders and x-fader and also assignable chanels for the x-fader.

UTILIZATION

Pros: The VCA faders work excellent. Everything in it's place. Clean and easy to read features on the top panel. Negs: The on/off switch is in the worst place. I never gonna understand the concept why they place the switch on the back side. As the source selector... User has to remove the top panel and set the switch to the desired position. In use it's impossible.

SOUNDS

High quality sound reproduction. Transparent highs, clear mids and powerfull bass. Excellent and very powerful headphone amp on the cue section.

OVERALL OPINION

Seems to be a durable piece. I bought it used and after years of use, it's still working fine. X-fader has been replaced, but this is normal. This item has the common Gemini neg: the easy to lose knob tops. This doesn't effect on the working condition, but looks bad. I haven't find any place to buy replacement.

Love factor... This is a very conservative piece. Black and white. My favourite. No unnecesary design, no futuristic lights and effects. A very elegant thing. Perfectly fits my setup, since my decks are also black and white. Clean, user friendly design. It's now 2005 and I don't think I'm gonna sell this one anytime soon. This is one of the best looking mixer I've seen in the last decade. Top class.
