The XLR and RCA audio connections you can pretty much run anything in and out of this mixer. I highly recommend this mixer to anyone who has a rack because you pretty much will not want to have this mixer unless you want to rack it because it is large and made for a gig rack.
I am very happy with the quality and features of this unit from Stanton and recommend that they make this exact same one rackable for those who need it.
All of the input and outputs slots are solid and will not start to cause any shorting after a lot of uses. No matter where I took this unit, I had the ease of mind knowing that I would not have any issues with it. That is one of the reason that I chose to use it as my smaller set up mixer for a while. It has never let me down.
The M101 is pretty small too being only about 10 inches long and it gets its power from a wall outlet. I have also heard in some cases these units can short out if over used but I have not experienced it personally. This mixer is perfect for someone’s first mixer and I highly recommend it at this price.

If you get the Numark M3 you will love it but it will only be a matter of time before you need to upgrade. I suggest just getting the upgrade right away and save you some time later. If you are going to get this mixer you mine as well get the USB M6 mixer that Numark makes. It is a 4 channel mixer and will work great with your computer set up.
