All user reviews for the ADJ (American DJ) Revo 4

I chose this end for the "enlightening" side. Let me explain: our focus on live, duet evenings, we try to have the least possible machinery side lights, the rest is already complicated to manage. LED current effects are nice but not as light bulbs effects. Our good old "Crater" from Starway was great as good lighting "ambiance" of the track, but it was still an all time "background" and only in music mode effect.

Today we mainly uses two Quad Phase whose movements controllable (via pedals) are beautiful and effective. BUT, the public is a little too much in the dark.

With the Revo 4 in central it's perfect, because completely different effect, to move towards the ground (Quad Phase rather on the walls), and above all, even if we do not case the excellent reasons to the ground, it produces a atmosphere much appreciated and "comfortable" for public lighting.

However, the Revo 4 is preferred in a large room, I think. On a small area that is a shame, better a good multi-effect, especially if you have the misfortune of having to move to a corner, it's even more damage.

Personally, we chose simply scroll through the presets with small wired remote option. In the end it is mainly for the "on / off" because the presets are very "smart" in terms of music. This is another strength of this effect except brightness: it looks like he knows the songs by heart!

I use it since the beginning of last year.

I've never had a LED effects before it.

Most is that it is compact easily filled a room is not sound because no ventilation.

What I like most is that it is controllable by DMX 256 or 4 channels and is programable infinity in 256 can (on freestyler) can scroll through text, or figures ...
The 256 bp is that it can have another computer to control other devices dmx!

The value is the best compared to other effects of this type are much more limited in functionality and often less dynamic ...

Without hesitating I buy it back one!

I do not understand why this is ranked among the top current DMX effects!
Unless I do not understand the operation mode DMX REVO4,
it is very disappointing;
Doc announces the 12 "Patterns" on channel 1 and 12 "Chases" on channel 2, we look like on other products by a factor of 2 and therefore a result of 144 effects, plus a choice of colors channel3 and the strobe on the 4 ...
In fact, the 12 fixed patterns are 12 figures, resembling also not much ... on which we can vary the color alone!
and 12 chases are 12 animations (chosen by??) on which we can vary the speed!
In any case, we do not find nice figures that exist in automatic mode.
We really feel that DMX was developed in tears, and is not finalized. (Is that ADJ provides an update of the ROM one day?)
4 channel DMX mode, we find ourselves very quickly with two buttons needed: Ignition mode "automatic sound" and off the projector!
For the "purists", and those who have a lot of time and available channels, you can program step, or rather led LED effect with 256 channels!
All this to say that it is a nice effect automatically, but in DMX mode, go your way!
(I found many opinions identical in English, but very few in France ...)
