Winter NAMM 2012 News
Every guitar player that wishes they had a drummer and bass player to jam with to help push their playing should have one of these. I love it.
This drum machine in my opinion was made for guitar players and bass players that either just want to hone their guitar playing chops or for those that like to be creative and enjoy writing songs. The DR-880 is so easy to work with. That's the beauty of this unit, you can just take it home and start jamming! I love to hook it up through my PA sy...
Overall this is a good drum machine, it's the first one I purchased and learned how to use. I now own a DR-880, which although sounds much better and can do more, takes me a longer time to get my patches created. Sometimes having too much choice can be a detriment to the musical process. If I could add two features to this drum machine, it wo...
This was ready right out of the box and it was very straight forward. Nothing was complex about it. Start it up and start going. The manual was simple to understand as well, nothing was difficult about this machine. The memory did get full pretty quick though, it didn’t hold much. I tested many machines, Roland (Groovebox) and Yamaha (QY series) mainly. The Groovebox do not have a sound general, and if the MC 909 or 808 can get ...
I have tried a lot of drum machines before buying it ... this is the one that convinced me the most (sounds, number pattern, number of user memories ....). Is a little expensive though to buy new but quite affordable used. Very good value for money (because it is a multi effect guitar, a drum machine, sequencer, ...).
I have been using 3/4 ans.De Occasionally I take him in concert (petits!). There is a low set, a batterie.Il no more than add a guitar, singing and it does. Like any material, it pleases where it meets these besoins.Moi I prefer to schedule a BAR with pads rather than making patterns in cubase! Once programmed my bar, I sync with cubase ...
Apart from the aspect of "programming" that has always put off, I love this machine! She really knows how to highlight the particularity of the rhythmic sounds of each style of beat in it. I re-would that choice without hesitation.
Apart from the great prog but good
