This unit is great, outside of the customer service that Tascam provided us I would say this is a must buy. It is expensive but worth the investment. This is not a rackable unit, it is pretty big and bulky so make sure you have the space to sit it down on before you purchase.
You should choose your digital recorder wisely because now it seems like the market is just getting over populated with them. The price of this one was a little more than I was ready to pay but after reading some reviews on it and messing around with it , I knew that I had to go and get my own. It did take me almost a year before I could get my ...
While good for it's time, the Tascam DA-88 is pretty obsolete at this point. Those who do still have them have most likely been keeping them in storage for years as it's just not reasonable to work with in the day of the DAW. I'm a beta tester for Timeline Vista, the company that developed the MX for Tascam. I plan to purchase this unit when the testing is complete because I am very impressed with it's performance overall. This hardware has got a V-8 under the hood! I tried doing home recording using soundcards and building my own DAW using over the coun...
I am a small collector. Yes I saw spent a lot of material and I love this type of recorder about the audio quality or there is nothing to say. It is affordable, not too heavy 8.5 kg, easy to use, there is the K7. For now I keep it. jean yves
I used 12 years. It is a tractor and it sounds good I think the editing software on Mac or PC to forget. The network port MX is a 10BT and it crawls serious. In addition when transferring files to / from the computer and the MX, there are many who, at the time their media is clueless ... on the other hand, i...
+ Sound, sound, sound. + Quality + Strength + Reputation + The removable control module + SD removable - The manual too thick lol - Lack an outlet to the PC easier, because it is a hassle to récup 8 tracks independently.
