Vox StompLab IG

I invite you to look at the features in other reviews, just remember this is complete: amp simulation, overdrive, fuzz, distos, modulations, reverbs, delays ... all at the same time and quality just right .

It's digital, signed Vox and made in Japan. For the smallest of the range is pretty amazing. Good finish, complete.

In terms of features there is nothing wrong.
This is not a chain preamps and effects in a CAB Torpedo but that's the joke for fun at home with a good headphone.

UTILIZATION

The grip is correct, not as top as analog machines that have a button per function but it is manageable.

Manual in all languages, well written, not ultra detailed: references of each module and its settings are at the very end.

Correct Edition.

SOUND QUALITY

For less than a POD XT used is clearly better.
I use it in a very simple chain: Les Paul P90, Vox Stomplab 1G, headphone DT990Pro Beyer. Never in an amp, not to save.

Clear sound: 7.5 / 10
Crunch sounds: 8/10
Overdrive: 8/10

Average effects: 7/10

OVERALL OPINION

I recently this is my seventh thing like that. One of the best apart from the chain 100% analog and expensive. To my mind over the pods XT and X3Pro.

I like the size, weight, price and sound.

I do not like the lack of shade button / recall and we must be careful not to be deceived by its settings.

For size and price, screen size to the old is not really a handicap, we made it fast.

A new 55 Euros is unbeatable. Remains to be seen the strength of the gadget in time.

Pleasant to use device.
The technology is digital but respects the character of the guitar.
I bought this multi effect this month and I have not tested any effects.
I'll post a review after further use.

UTILIZATION

After a little time to adapt editing sounds and effects is intuitive.
The knob is indexed accurate.
The two potentiometers allow quick adjustment.
The manual is quite spartan and setting amps poorly explained.
After understanding the adjustments are fast and accurate.
The establishment of batteries is not easy and I have connected a power
outside the day after purchase.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality is at the appointment.
Used with a fender telecaster single coil pickups, sounds are clear and crystalline
in clean mode.
The large number of amp simulation allows you to find one that is desired.
I have not tested any effects.
This amp responds well to the attack on a rope and the sustain is good.
For crunch sounds must mount the volume of the guitar.

OVERALL OPINION

I used multi effects, ZOOM, KORG and I find here more clean and precise sound.
I use 1G VOX for several days.
The metal housing insulates better than electronics plastic housing and is more robust.
Bought 69 euros from Woodbrass I would have liked to pay a little cheaper
like everyone else.
I do not regret my purchase ........

There are many effects and a lot of modeling. Basic connectivity, input and output jack (used for headphones) and food.

UTILIZATION

everything is quite complicated, it looks like an old multi effect in the config, turn knobs, press buttons, turn buttons etc ... but if you already have the old multi, c for simple djeuns who are used to connect machines on USB ben it will be more difficult to adapt!

SOUND QUALITY

So I can not comment on the simulations, I do not using.
I took it because I needed a reverb, and considering the price of independent reverb pedals ... pfffff it made me not want ... suddenly, I mainly use reverb and occasionally some modulation effects, and a boost for solos. For the rest I need this in my pedalboard.

So for reverb, delay, modulation, it is really realistic, it's well taf!

For the rest, I will publish my opinion if I have the opportunity to try on the sound amp simulations.

OVERALL OPINION

I had a lot of multi or pedals, amps of all kinds ... this machine is nice but super limited edition sounds and settings. Me it is because that is what I was looking for but it not replace a true multi-effect ... More comprehensive and cheap and also good sound quality, zoom G3 is more complete and the effects are editable, while remaining cheap.
