Biggest Ever Audio Mixing Contest is ON!
I love this pedal! My only gripes are that it is sensitive to hot pickups and that it is huge! They have discontinued the model I own, and I doubt the new ones sound the same. But I still love it. If something were to happen to it, I would have to snag another one. This isn't a pedal I use all of the time, but it is one of those pedals that I ha...
I'm not sure if Electra harmonics is making these pedals anymore because they really have been pushing their newer digital reverb pedal that comes in a compact small nano box. If you're looking for a newer pedal then I'll probably go with that one but if you're an old-school type of person then you want the vintage electro-harmonics styl...
Overall this pedal does what it does and that’s about it. It’s a fuzz pedal and it’s gets that classic Muff sound. They always say “classic sounds of Hendrix to Santana” on their ads, but I hear more Santana than Jimi for sure. It doesn’t get as raw as Jimi’s classic tone, but it’ll get you in the ball park. Overall for 80US dollars it’s a we...
Overall this is a very cool pedal to own and I think every guitar player should own one of these at some point . Whether that be this one of another the phaser pedal is very usable and very fun to play with. This pedal is a very good quality item and at the price new you can't really beat that. You can find them for right at around 480 which is ...
For the money I just don't think this can be beat. I have other fuzz pedals that sound better in some situations and have a more refined sound but they cost much more than this. There are some inconsistencies with it though. I have played others that sounded quite different from mine. I wouldn't say worse but different. The huge size is also a t...
If you are a bass player you could very well like this pedal. For me it was a bit bulky in size and not very user friendly. This particular model has been discontinued and now replaced with a newer modern one. Which is fairly more cosmetic than internally changed. I think you can find these pedals on the use market pretty easily....
I love this pedal. Easy to use and the most classic fuzz box this world has ever known. I would say the only down side is the size of the box. It is HUGE and takes up a ton of space on your pedal board. Another thing is the odd plug which is on the male side. It doesn't use a normal Boss or Ibanez plug so beware of that. It feels...
For me the sound of a pedal is always the number one priority. I can usually work around any design hangups if the end sound is worth it. I would say the Holy grail is great for most reverb requirements. It is not very tweakable but the one knob design provides a pretty wide variety of tones. The knob is also big enough to move with your foot du...
For real analog echo it's hard to beat this pedal. There are others with more options and longer delay times but the simplicity of this is part of the charm. The only downside for some would be the power supply, size, and the older models have an always on preamp. Most of my other pedals take standard 9v power so having one wall wart is not a bi...
This is one of Electro-Harmonix's coolest devices. There is not anything else like this on the market. With the solid construction and being built in America it is well worth its price. I would not want to rely on something this complex built in a factory who knows where. Electro-Harmonix knows what they are doing when they make a pedal like thi...
