-The Installation is simple but a bit long, I finally we will not be blamed to the software that came with 2GB of mortals samples ...!

ADQUATION / PERFORMANCE

IBook G4 1Ghz, 640MB DDR, 80GB HDD.
The software works perfectly on this config. A little limit on RAM even when we quickly leveled resources. Moreover, to have test on other machines, the bar is much CPU resources used in terms of RAM memory that processor ... so I think I rachterai of RAM if I must evolve my config.
That said I use the software for live applications with this config and from the moment it manages its rack correctly, it is doing everything without cracking or latency (MAC, PC, because it You will need to buy a sound worthy of the name card ...)

I use it for 1 year.

Samples and patches provided are the domain of dlire! I have more than any desire to buy me digital piano I bought a good keyboard master and Reason was something really good. I am not speaking of the strings: solo violins are superb.
I will be more MODR for synths but hey, still has a software and it is already not bad. We arrive satisfactory rsultat with any sound in 4 mouse clicks.
And then the "big sound" (ha ha ...) everything is subjective, adpend of what we do and what we want, for me it suits me, sound. Well, reverbs are quite limited but is content ... and then to the live (or even recording for that matter) you can have a sound card with multiple outputs, cbler (virtually) a sending 'on the outputs and have a good rverb (PCM at Lexicon for example) and arsoud dfinitivement this concern with a small prmix.
Only big point ngatif, the compress an unfortunate tendency create a lightweight distortion: For a compress contained in a mastering rack has means when same.
The combinators: here is a great invention! (For people who regret this function to resource consumption reasons: group multiple samplers and treatments in a same rack to use some resources it is obliged to provide a little unpleasant. surprises especially when loading a patch combinator very heavy!! But hey, we do not make an omelette without breaking eggs).
The function remote with external controllers: royal!
Possibilities of practical time signatures (9/8 play with a metronome that plays 9/8 is rather good), both for the tempo 1000me bpm: practice to properly calibrate samples in measurement.
Regrettably even when the impossibility to automate the tempo is not always necessary but sometimes interesting.
Conclusion: for sounds is really not bad especially the internet offers free patches of good quality and then if you have not enough to invest in a couple of microphones and do your samples you even it's always better when we do everything from A Z for ergonomics is not bad but could do better ... (MIDI output, dammit!!!)

There weren't any compatibility issues when I was installing ReCycle. 
The setup of ReCycle is confusing at first but it is easier if you understand waveforms and can identify where each beat is in the loop you are working with. The manual gets pretty hairy at times, it's easier to have somebody teach you how to use it. Fortunately that's how I learned how to use it. The basic functions of ReCycle are pretty easy to access. There isn't a lot of backtracking and changing settings involved with using the program. 


SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE


The software is designed to isolate each element in a drum loop. If a drum loop is put into ReCycle, the program isolates each note and allows you to set the tempo to a BPM of your choice. These loops can then be used in programs like Logic and Reason. Overall, the program itself identifies 90% of the notes played in each loop. It is up to the user to isolate each note from there. It actually can get pretty tricky if you are dealing with a complex loop, but overall, it's not too difficult. It allows you to work with an astonishing number of samples and loops that would be difficult, if not impossible, to work with otherwise. There's isn't a whole lot of gear necessary to run this program, so the configuration doesn't really provide any issues that need to be dealt with. I've used this program for about six months. After a few days I was really good at doing loops, which was helpful. 


OVERALL OPINION

I feel as though I would use this program more than I do. Considering I prefer to record live instruments, and I'm more of a ProTools guy anyway, this isn't really as helpful as I would have hoped. That being said, if processing drum loops and using them for your own compositions is your thing, this is a pretty great program. You'd probably having a difficult time without this or a similar program. I did not try any other models; the studio I work at purchased this. I think most software is overpriced, but compared to most audio programs this one isn't too bad. I personally wouldn't unless I needed to use Logic and drum loops more. Currently I have no use for it.

WELL (by the way, reason 3 copies the factory sound banks and Scud directly install on the HD, so no more messages like "insert CD factory")

Apparently no more CPU intensive than the previous version.

OVERALL OPINION

Fort spctaculaires little change since version 2.5, no new instruments, new plugins just compression / EQ / mastering combinator and a rack that allows the stacking of sounds.

7 / 10 because the app is very well Designed and pdagogique but no more because no change rvolutionnaire.

It is true all the same with this version 3 we can finally have Bassdrum correct and this time the compressor pump (they have all the same crap leaves the compressor pti of 2.5 for playback of songs from Version 2.5)

Also note a patch browser / user-friendly songs

Trouble free installation if it is a hassle to find the version 3 files c ome the 2.5
the configuration is fairly simple: a lot recognition midi controllers
damage is the manual again and again since the varsion an English!

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I have: a laptop P4 1GB RAM clocked at 2.66 GHz
and there ca serious bug!
Reason 2.5 fully breathing with 512 GB of RAM while nibbling version 3 of the CPU as there are and yet I went to a go!
I found some more bugs in the programs ... I almost regret the old version!
damage: propellerhead me used to a very stable product ....

OVERALL OPINION

I'm using Reason since its creation and version 3 for 1 week
I like: mastering, presentation, neat, menu loading
I regret: load times, nothing revolutionary in the change, and when the audio and automation of TEMPO ???????? long-awaited and that will make me a dual switch to another software like Cubase sx

I still advise strongly that software, but users are about 5 years, let me call etyre!

Installation - No problem during this process. However, I regret that an update (I had to make the passage in V3.0.4) requires a complete uninstall, and that we must safeguard his tracks before uninstalling the old version (they are purely cancel service with any the rest). Second regret only the main program is updated and a copy of both CD sound is yet again requested. And we must re-enter the license key, even if it has already saved (I know, other programs do the same, but others store the info and do not want more). In summary, no installation problems, but heavy enough for the updates.
Incompatibility - None encountered yet.
General configuration - A little confusing for some things, but like a lot of software it can be done fairly quickly.
Manuel - He is sufficient to start.

OVERALL OPINION

Overall - I admit that overall it is a good product, although ultimately I do not sound so extraordinary as this (there are still very good, and I probably a little too used to my other sound libraries).
Repeat this choice? - I would say that if I started in computer music, yes, definitely, I would find this program great and would recommend. But as a user of Cubase since its beginnings on the Atari, I'm a little puzzled. I think I should try it before buying it.
Unacceptable - I can not understand is that such software lets close with a piece worked, not backed up, without offering to save him! I lower my bill primarily for this reason.
Conclusion - I am impressed with the possibilities and the overall quality of this software, the developers have done a remarkable job. But this product may not bring me as much as I expected (I expected more of him to use as a sound bank and ignore the part sequencer is a bit missed).

Not to play with the empty rewire to synchronize it with Cubase or Logic, this is the only major weakness is that I think this software is not designed to be used as a plugin but as time software unique.

For my part I use it to simulate orchestral instruments and this is stunning. For synths modules are perfect. The big news of Reason 3 from the two is the creation of a full rack of mastering (the combinator), it gives the composition of the punch parraissait couraging to give effect "lack of bass "in previous versions.

Plus: The synths are very pleasurable, as is exit to play the violin on the piano with small effects archer.
Cons: The guitars are super virtual void but good quote me a program that virtualizes corect a guitar?? Systm pnible rewire the use and trs heavy compared to Systmes plugin implementations of its competitors (such as Native Instrument or under windaube Fruityloops).

This configuration does not seem enough to read some DMOS, but in terms of my compositions, there is no pb!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for about 6 months in most cases of FL Studio ReWire mode.
Plus: a large variety of samples, a bote pace Redrum really nice, good effects.
The least: the notes in the edition squenceurs is tedious trs (finding an air mouse, has not the top) if we do not have a keyboard possde matre afternoon, one can not import vst and trs is shame ...

A bit pricey when compared FL ...

Reason is all the same great software but possde limitations (I know that I speak trs software that Liam Howlett has used for couraging his latest album).

- What performance?
It is not very hungry, except when to load the piano "reason refill piano". Another small BMOL, the browser just train when you want to browse directories with lots and lots of sample. (Samples came from the collection's outdoor eh, those not included)
- This software + hardware configuration is stable?
Yes, except for those few slow (very rare though). I had no problem. The software has never plant, taking my taf.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 2 months. Frankly I see dfaults level too. Before j'tais on fruity loops there is clearly no contest.
- How do you report qualitprix? Less than 400 is very reasonable given the tool it is.

Installation trs simple, just read.
No incompatibility meeting.
Gnrale configuration is quite simple:
A component gnral / audio / midi / advanced MIDI. Everything is clear.
The manual is extremely comprehensive and very clear if we made the effort to delve into it.

Propellerhead's philosophy remains that deprives us of VST in Reason, but it's not really an incompatibility ...

Unlike Previous notice, I will say that there is no need for MIDI keyboard thanks to squenceur Matrix (for the costs quickly and the choice of a sound) and squenceur gnral in which to compose the mouse. Certainly it is less convenient, which did not empcher to use this for a year prs. The keyboard I use now has, moreover, that with two octaves which is not the only good when IDAL but same (question of use). Note that whatever software you want to use a master keyboard is essential to virtually systmatique fawn. Without fatally buy a sound card, when I beginners with my USB keyboard has not happened not too bad, good, now I do not do it again (latency, etc.)..

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The software runs fine on my PC trs (Asus P5LD2, Intel DualCore, 4GB DDR2) and my soundcard (ESI Quataire) and just as well on my MacBookPro.
The performance of the software are many:
He possde a great diversity of instrument, effect and thus sounds.
-The possibilities are endless routing is fun.
-The Accessibility assistive technology software that is direct dj minimal knowledge about the use of a synthtiseur or groove box.
-The interface is omniprsente, no hidden windows using the resource in Czech.
-Stable and undemanding in terms of power (I did run on old machines, well, do not ask 50 track but for a small DLIR password).

OVERALL OPINION

I have been using ending for 6 years. What I like most is the cot play, you plug the machines ... What I like least is when the same display, not full screen when you're on a laptop screen was squint to read. The sound needs an evolution, it is a bit flat. It's OK with some good effects or mastering but when the big sound in Reason? I have not tried other acqurir before, I used (on board) to learn and perfect c'tait today if I know how a synthtiseur and What is an LFO or modulation is thanks Reason. the report is qualitprix trs good. Exprience I would do with this choice, there will always be a version of Reason on my computer.

The features of this program are astonishing.There's a vast amount of potential coming from this program.I hope for a better sequencer,and more powerful sound ability from the program.In the end I'd like to see Propellerhead make this program into more than just a compositional tool.I'd like to be able to record directly into the program,and not have to export my audio for further processing.Propellerhead have made this program almost feel like a stand alone instrument rather than powerful workstation.

$450 USD

Although Reason 3.0 has a few bugs to work out,I would say that even getting earlier versions of this program may prove to be quite a feat to work around until you get alot of things down,such as :Wiring,Mastering,Mixing,Programming,Additive and Subtractive synthesis,and sampling.

Ah finally Reason 3.0,this program boasts on the new combinator and MClass Mastering Tools to improve it's sound.Overall,the patches in the subtractor and malstrom are fairly decent.I spend time tweaking factory sounds or creating my own.Scream 4 and the RV7000 give a big help in giving great sound quality.Overall the sound quality of this program has a weakness,the company themselves tell you to process your music outside of the program due to the program being merely a compositional device rather than a full out mixing mastering recording station.

The program is fairly stable,although users will swear this program will never crash on you that's untrue I've had this program crash on me several times,but I believe that's a bug issue at this point.

OVERALL OPINION

I like this program,I wouldn't say I love it quite yet however.Give Propellerhead a few years to make some changes and perhaps this will become even more of a competitor.
