Winter NAMM 2012 News
In the end, the ONE is a great alternative to the Duet, and as long as you do not anticipate having to do more than a channel at a time and you do everything in the box, this is a great, world class tool for songwriters to use. The built in microphone also makes this interface that much more useful than the Duet as long as you do not need the ch...
If you are doing most of your work inside the box, this is pretty much the quintessentially perfect interface for you. There really is nothing much more to say. The Duet 2 is perfect for what it tries to be.
I find the Duet to now be a steal when you consider that the Duet 2 is out on the market now, taking up the new sales segment. It is a fantastic deal, very elegant, and the quality is top notch.
Overall, After reading hundreds of reviews (good & bad) of the iRig & Peavey Amp Kit interfaces for iPad, I was concerned with reported problems and decided to wait for the Apogee JAM to arrive. Just bought one and glad I did! Out of the box simple! Plug one end into the iPad dock port and your guitar in the JAM input and off you go. Has ...
Overall, I use the One not just for field recording, but also as an interface when I just want to plug in a guitar and jam. But overall I love products like this, small compact and works like a charm. Not too mention you can get it at a great price. I choose this over the duet any day now. I actually did A/B the two just to see what the differences were and my conclusions were that this interface was not a slight step up. It has been revered, via the tech support guy at Apogee no...
The Apogee Electronics Duet 2 is the perfect audio interface for the home studio owner who is doing most of their work inside the box. For producers working primarily in Logic, you can't find a better deal. If you need more inputs and outputs and are using Pro Tools primarily, it may not be your best bet, but for those looking for something wi...
After trying the iRig and Peavey Ampkit Link to record with my iPad and receiving less than stellar results, the Apogee Jam was a breath of fresh air. The sound is excellent, ease of use is perfect and overall, the unit delivers what it is supposed to: allowing you to get YOUR guitar tone into a recording using your iPad, iphone or Mac OS.No fee...
I am very happy with my purchase and recommend this to everyone!
It can be a bit pricey, but if are on Mac and demand great quality in a small package, this is the only interface you will ever have to buy!
