-It's Very stable, see perfectly stable, as long as it is configured his computer.
    -Latence Inaudible.

    NOTICE GLOBAL

I have 2 years and I love her practicit especially for simus guitars. It was very fast all the styles you want and it's trsraliste see bluffing.
It's really east to the guys (and girls) who want to save or Jamer on PC, without taking the mouth to endless amp outlets that give nothing because it was not the gear or knowledge n sary.

    The pros:
-the realism of simulations (guitar, bass, Pramp)
-the possibility to turn the amp arsenal
-the handling very simple for beginners in computer music.
-the Gearbox and Podfarm software crashing.
    -The report quality price
-drivers very stable and often updated.
    srieux -the from LINE6

    The -:

-The Output converters are not the best in the marchc'est clair.Je just spent RME (Fireface 400) and this is the day and night but it's not the same price.
-The case is a little cheap because plastoc.
    MIDI -no
    -some really terrible effects.

I find the price-quality ratio nickel. On was quick to record bass lines, guitars and modern and fully GPs voice.
Here are some demos ralises exclusively with this card this address:

    www.myspace.com/goodchlorine

Guitars, bass and vocals recorded with the voice Gearbox.Les software are recorded with direct SM57 plugg in Pramp of the card.

It is sold with the squenceur + Ableton, I'm never used but it seems that it's top.
on the other hand I do not do the same choice because I do not often buy 2 times the same thing .........

My choice was based on a semi-pro or pro enregsitrement desire for a ridiculously low price and ease of use.
I use it with studio monitors and I can say that the simulation of a real amp is breathtaking. I also use a Jackson RR3 with Seymour Duncan.
The coupled Podfarm software works with zero latency on my old Compaq presario CQ-61.

Everything is done automatically!
Level latency here I am 190ms. It is huge but it is possible that my pc is not powerful enough. This does not affect the sound however.
The sound card itself has two instrument inputs 6.35, two mic inputs with phantom power, a USB port and outputs 6.35. Presets in Podfarm are also great for guitar and bass for voice. Reverb and other effects are there to give a voice perfect for recording sound. You can record a voice and an instrument not simultaneously but not both instruments. Too bad I say.

    GETTING STARTED

Installation, as I said, very simple. Everything is guided with line 6 monkey and line 6 license manager. You just have to let yourself be guided without any difficulty.
    The documentation is clear

    OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year I would say. I used to think about buying a sound card to get a cleaner for my enresitrements sound. I came across this one and I must say that I am still under the spell.
I recently bought a new pack with other amp models. I just needed to get my credit card code and launch line 6 license manager to accept the installation of the new package. In two seconds it was done.

The value for money is immbattable. Line 6 are really the kings of the amp simulation.

Used with a laptop. It is in the first price with jack + XLR with 48v power supply.

    UTILIZATION

Stable product. No latency with the guitar.
Used with Logic Audio 5.3 under win7

recording a track at a time. Reading up to 12 channels without pb. Not tested further.

    GETTING STARTED

Easy installation and compatible with other amp simulations as guitar rig.

    OVERALL OPINION

Good value for models at home with a good sound without harming neighbors.

My computer 'date of 2010 with a standard configuration ... the same time, this type of device does not require much resources, on the other hand, recording software makes the difference.

    UTILIZATION

Installation super simple software for pilots, one for the pod farm 6 (interface offering tons of digital effects) and one for the record ... I do not use. Personally, I prefer Audition.
I tinker generally leads to 4-5 maximum with a sample rate of all there is more standard (44K), and the little box is very good work.

    GETTING STARTED

No problem getting started, powered by the USB connection, so RAS. The use of software 6 Pod Farm to test interesting combinations, but the quality of these effects are modest.
Better transplanting his tube amp with effects and a good sm 57, and there it's all good.

    OVERALL OPINION

It's been about 2 years since I use it not only to amuse myself by playing over a tablature (guitar pro aaah ..), but also to listen to my music from my PC to my 5.1 speakers.
More than just a soundcard, it really is a handy, versatile and will add a special mention for the display with the meters needle, it adds to the beast a little retro side .. and it is really convenient.
I would do this choice without hesitation

Then I'm not super pro administration of PC, knowing that I have another sound card in the same computer, and I do not fall below 10 ms latency, but as I have never embarrassed ...
1 track recorded at the time, but I'm all alone, so it is not a concern ... attention if it is to save a group with several channels at the same time, it is not.

    GETTING STARTED

    nothing to declare:
    plug & play
    download super easy.
And for the wealthy, full of effects to add bundles (paying)

    OVERALL OPINION

I put in January 2008 because it is so blended into the landscape of the home studio, I feel like I've always had ...
The feature I like the most: guitar amplifiers: numerous, varied, realistic
The one I like least: VU mêtres are funny, but experience tells me they are not calibrated: I stalled many times over (the needle approaching the max without bottoming) to find myself with a signal way too much to listen to the recording
I do not remember the price new, but frankly it was affordable, and I replongerais without hesitation.

Thanks to zero-latency monitoring, I can save a playback without worrying about latency of my system.

You can record two sources at the same time, guitar, vocals for example, or when a stereo source (stereo jack guitar, for example).

    GETTING STARTED

The installation is very simple and we found it immediately, no need to leave the manual. I use it with Logic and Garage Band and integration is very good. Also tested with Pro Tools, it works niquel.

No incompatibilities on a system as well as 32bit 64bit (I have two at home), a small house support allows you to check any updates to.

    OVERALL OPINION

I have since 2005 and I used a lot, it has never failed. What I like is the quality of the amp simulations, everything is there. Fender, Hiwatt, Marshall, Vox, Dual Rectifier etc etc, the list is long.

But this is not all there is also a list of all pedals, Tube Screamer, B / K Chandler Tube Driver, Boss Chorus, etc etc Univibe.

Pleased with the overall quality of the sound card, I bought the packs to increase the choices available.

I would do this choice without worry. In this niche, there's no better.

I've been playing guitar for only a few years, (drums for 10+, bass for about 5, keys for maybe a bit longer) and more recently making electronic music for my project Time Zones and Area Codes.

It's super easy to use, sounds awesome, comes with free software (without needing 'unlock' codes), has awesome amp modeling technology, sounds great with more than just guitars, has 2 XLR inputs for mics (which recently got me into doing more ambient/noise work), and pretty much all-around rocks…

I've been playing guitar for only a few years, (drums for 10+, bass for about 5, keys for maybe a bit longer) and more recently making electronic music for my project Time Zones and Area Codes.

I bought it from guitar center for a little less than $150. I liked the reviews on the site and I needed an interface to record my guitar with.

The bypass button is the icing on the cake though, not having to use their crazy digital rigs when you don't necessarily need to. Awesome!

Clipping noises, and lots of them. Even when there's no peak going on, I sometimes get an annoying little ticking sound that ruins my loop or track or whatever i'm working on. It usually can't be EQ'd out without losing my perfect tone. Also, the sounds are a bit 'digital' sounding, so unless you're using the bypass with certain instruments you're going to want to punch your studio monitors in the face.

In all honesty, I don't think it's that big of a drawback (unless you plan on playing football with the device), but it's not built THAT great. It will last, as long as you treat it with semi-special care.

This thing is amazing. Sure it's not a tank, but if you need to record guitar, vocals, bass, keyboards, didgeridoo, trumpet, violin, harmonica, or just about anything this is definitely for you.

Playing for 17 years (Rock and Metal mostly) I also have a recording degree from the "Recording Workshop" in Chillocothe OH

Bought new on Ebay for $200

It's an all in one solution for recording Guitars/Vox/Bass. It works fantastic and stable on windows XP with my recording software (Magix music studio 10). The guitar sounds from Line6 are really good for the price. The unit features sounds from the Bass Pod and also has excellent effect options for vocals. This one unit has easily replaced 10 seperate peices of music gear.

You have to buy additional software to bring the unit up fo the full PODXT (like the guitarport).

Excellent. Modern sound with a vintage look.

    This unit is a fantast…

This unit is a fantastic deal if you have a newer computer to run it on. If you can get live drum tracks into your computer then you can do high end studio work on your home PC (with a good quality condenser mic for vocals).
