I compared several soundcards on a USB2 RD 700GX with Emulation Galaxy II piano samples and Kawai EX DynAudio on monitoring speakers.

Thank you to Olivier / Home Studio for giving me the opportunity to try and compare multiple sound cards.

Edirol UA 25 X vs. Audio Kontrol 1

Edirol has only two output lines, AK1, 4
No individual adjustment of the headphone output on Edirol, and a very low (!)
A fineness of less well with Edirol (?)
Then stability.
Edirol has "jump" Kontakt Player repeatedly after a few changes in instrumentation (Galaxy).
Less cracking also controlled equal ...
AK then displays 192Kh recording vs 96 for Edirol ...
Many good points as well.

I try to simulate the sound of a piano concert in approaching as close.
I think making the right choice with AK1.

Yet the delicacy of the Galaxy or demos EstWest Quantum Leap (beautiful), but listening sound reproduction of Spotify (see Tubular Bells by Mike Olfield it sound quite remarkable.

More softwares also available.

UTILIZATION

Affirmative
Kontakt Player 4
Spotify
Average latency (otherwise Galaxy Steinway 5.1 Suround does not support!)

GETTING STARTED

Easy ...

OVERALL OPINION

Yes, see above

Not given, but nothing equivalent as good as what I saw!
