Vox introduces at NAMM 2015 a small USB audio interface in the AmPlug series for guitar recording to a computer.
The AmPlug I/O is equipped with a 1/4” jack that plugs to a guitar or amp and a USB port to send the signal to a computer, an iOS tablet or smartphone (requires the optional Apple USB camera connection kit).
The small box also includes a headphone output and a tuner with a small LED display. Note that you won’t need to plug-in the AmPlug i/O to a computer to use the built-in tuner.
The AmPlug I/O is powered by two AA batteries. It can be used with any guitar amp modeling software or DAW (supports ASIO drivers), including the Vox JamVOX III.
