Overall, this is quite a good instrument. I'm glad Fender is branching out of their more traditional fare and offering more modern features that players are looking for. Humbucking pickups now are far more popular than single coils, simply because so many more players are using the high-gain setups, and to have a classy Strat that can help provi...
It may be a bit strange to look at, but I am a fan of this guitar. It's good that Fender is starting to push some design boundaries, looking into its storied past and drawing inspiration from multiple sources, yet still incorporating some modern features. I'd like to see a Bass VI version of this guitar!
What I like the most about it that it feels, plays and sounds great. What I like the least is that as always there'd no arm contour so having the body edge in your right fore arm all night long can take some getting used to. The other down side is just the same with all guitars with single coils. When you play anywhere with bad pow...

The G-DEC, while intentionally marketed towards teachers/students/just learning guitar players or not, this amp is definitely built for that. There's a lot of presets and a lot of built in songs to play around with and learn with, however these aren't full songs, they're more like loops. Though you can upload your own songs I believe. Overall it...
I just think Fender can do better than this. It seems like they're skating by on name recognition and cosmetics. This amp isn't nearly as versatile as a comparable Line 6, so I can't recommend it.
If you're looking for a solid guitar, and can afford these guitars, I recommend checking them out. I don't recommend rushing out and buying these blind as they can be real iffy in terms of overall quality and tone. I've seen some real dogs around this era, but the ones that are good are simply amazing. This was one of the amazing ones.
This guitar is meant for hardcore Cobain fans but it is not super expensive like older models so younger players can still afford it. Since this guitar doesnt have any crazy signature markings it can be enjoyed by people who arent particularly Nirvana fans. If you just like Mustangs in general you could enjoy this guitar for having a heavier sou...
All in all I think the Fender Eric Johnson Strat is awesome. People say it's probably the best non Custom Shop Fender made, and I'd have to agree. Other than the overly glossy neck, it's nearly perfect, and short of having a custom Suhr or Fender made, I'd argue that for the dollar you can't get better. The look is classic, the feel is very vint...
All in all I think the Fender Standard Strat HSS is a decent guitar for someone looking for a Strat with a bit of added versatility in the form of humbucker for a reasonable price. The quality is decent, the feel is actually quite nice from what I've seen from guitar to guitar, and the tones, while not the best in the world, do ape classic or mo...
