Doepfer A-120 24dB Low Pass 1

Reproduction of Moog 24dB low pass filter in Eurorack Format:
- A potentiometer controls the cutoff frequency of the filter.
- Two independent potentiometers (CV2/CV3) for assaying the amplitude modulation signals applied a cut-off frequency of the filter.
- A potentiometer for assaying the amplitude of the audio input signal.
- A potentiometer for assaying the level of filter resonance.

- A CV input -> Frequency direct filter (without amplitude potentiometer).
- Two CV input (CV2/CV3) -> filter frequency control potentiometer (respectively two potentiometers cited above)

UTILIZATION

The setup is simple: One button, one function. Having three CV inputs to modulate the filter is particularly interesting, it allows for very complex modulation.

The audio input level control can saturate the filter from a control environments race (noon).
Increase the level of resonance reduces slightly the audio output level, as on every ladder filters (Moog and emulation ...).

So for her I'm in heaven!

The filter can be well rounded or otherwise well raspy if you enter into saturation with the audio input level to max. It is very porch of his Moog Rogue, without issuing a creamy sound like the Minimoog Voyager New School.

I love this filter to treat oscillators first, but especially for the treatment of external sources such as sampler, BAR etc ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 1 year envirron. Buy here even for a morsel of bread, I do not regret this investment. Very easy to use quality / price ratio is at the top for me.

Moog filter "generic" very good for less than 100 euros!

I intend to invest later in the full version (A-108), which allows to use all the possibilities of the filter for a few euros more ...
