Value For Money : Excellent
What technical specifications motivated your choice?

- FireWire
- Price
- Possibility to chain 4 boxes

For what purpose?

- Registration DMOS guitar / vocals


What is your config (motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?

- MacBook Pro 2.33 Ghz - 2GB RAM

UTILIZATION

Installation is no problem it?

- No problem on the Mac. Installation 3 minutes or less (comprhension operation included)

The manual is clear and sufficient? ...

- Yes, but not really useful. We understand how quickly trs was done.

GETTING STARTED

The drivers are stable?

- No crash observation.

Are they often put day?

- No, but it is not Necessary for now ... see the arrival of Leopard aec.

What software do you use most often?

- Logic Pro 8.

What you get lag?

- Almost zero. It must be of the order of 1-2 ms.

How many tracks you get record / playback simultanment?

- From: 2 instruments or a voice or an instrument 2 votes. I do not use the line inputs.
- Output: 2.

OVERALL OPINION

How long have you use it?

- About 1 year.

What is the particular feature you like best and least?

- The most: price, Firewire, among intruments (Jack) and microphones (XLR) audio quality.
- Cons: The inputs could be XLR / Jack shuffled. The line inputs are useless to me, I would have two entries as prfr instruments and more.

Have you tried many other models before acqurir?

- Not in this range. I also have a MOTU 896 and ONYX 1640FW ...

How do you report qualitprix?

- Perfect, repeat the above. It's cheap, effective and good quality trs.

Exprience with, you will do again this choice?

- Yes, in the sense that this interface has no competitors.
