So I bought a scarlett 2i2 and recently purchased a mid 2007 imac running el capitan os x 10.11.6.

It cracks pops and hisses non stop.

I've tried everything. To the point where I have ran the scarlett into the mac without any instruments or mics plugged in and it still has the same issue.

Anyone else have the same issue or a fix ?
