Hello!
I just switched from M-Audio <firewire to a scarlett 6i6 usb, because my Macbook does not have firewire. The interface seems to work, but I don't get a proper stereo out in every daw and even playing youtube vids, I only get mono signals on my monitors. I don't want to buy another interface. Or do I have to buy an thunderbolt to firewire adaptor and use my old one?

Hi Alain,

The Scarlett 6i6 should provide full stereo out assuming that both speakers are being utilised to separate speakers and the source material is mixed in stereo.
Within Mix Control, please can you select File -> Restore Factory Defaults
Then, please could you try this simple Youtube test to confirm that, as you state, you are hearing the same Left/Right signal through both speakers at all time. The actual result should be that the signal changes from left to right:

Do the same issues occur with the headphone outputs?
