This should also depend on the config, but on my PowerBook G4 Mac, 1.67 GHz, 1GB of RAM, it went well and it seems that the pc is ok too

The configuration is generally stable, I had some crashes not severe, the recovery of the file is always possible and is available when you restart Live.
I use a lot of vst (many freeware), and sometimes it happens that Live does not like some of the vst and plant automatically (maybe with synth soundfonts, but I have not tested like crazy I just saw that this kind of VST or AU was crashing the program).
Normally, Live analyzes new vst installed and said if it can work or not, however, there are those who walk at all and are visible under the Plugins menu, and others who plant the software outright.

I used to Live 5 lite version, purchased with a keyboard MAUDIO Keystation 61es and I did the upgrade to 6 lite (free) and I fell I upgraded to version 6 full, including effects in full (no more than 2 in total on the lite version) and VST (possible use of one or vst plugin with the lite version)
