Steinberg Cubase Studio 5

Cubase is one of the most well-known daw’s right now, it’s being used by many well-known performers and people in their home studios.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The application performs well and one of the biggest advantages is the great interface and the whole concept of creating music that makes the flow much faster than with another daw's like Pro Tools or Ableton.
The gear is very stable, I could work for many hours without having to restart the program because of some bugs, so stability is without a doubt a plus.


OVERALL OPINION

What do I like most about it are low resources required to run this software, also the great build-in effects and compressors.
he cost is fairly low, and you get a number of plug-ins with the program that help your mastering process.
The Arranging is simple to create, you can really create something unique in just a few minutes however I don't really like the automation lines because they aren't as mobile as you find for example in Ableton from Sonic Academy.

It seems to be created really well. It's simple on the eyes and constant if your pc has excellent specs.
Cubase is a sequencer program that works with the ones and zeroes of digital binary code there is absolute no complaining regarding the sounds.

Cubase is value the money is because of it's extensive function set. It is most definitely a expertly designed system.

I've tried many Daw's, you should give Cubase a try.

Steinberg cubase studio 5 was used on my laptop a few years ago. Cubase has always been one of the leading sequencer softwares on the market that can run your whole studio. One of the unique things to me about Cubase Studio 5 was just how easy it was for me too use. I almost got the hang of it instantly and didn’t need to read too much in the manual.

Setting it up was simple, I had the box version of it (meaning that I didn’t pay for the downloadable version I actually bought it at the store) So you just put the disk in let it load and follow instructions on entering the registration codes and numbers.


OVERALL OPINION

Cubase Studio 5 will shock you will its ability, its pretty powerful and I didn’t expect it too be with it being so affordable, and so much more affordable than pro tools. Some minor problems that I had with cubase was getting some of my regular plug ins to work with it. Some of the same plug ins that have worked for me in other audio sequencers seem to get a little messed up when running them in cubase. But cubase claims that you can run any vst plugin through it just like you can anything else. I really havent figured out why they didn’t work like they should have. This didn’t happen with all of the plug ins, just a small select few and it was very aggravating trying to get it to work.

Overall, cubase studio 5 was a solid midi sequencing program that you could finish your whole song in from creating to recording and mastering. You can do it all in Cubase 5. But since then Cubase 5 has been upgraded several times so you will need to purchase the newest version of it.

isntallation? wow it's easy you put your cd you follow the instructions and voila ....
bin config it's the same if you know what you want or you'll ofSuite are the parameterization.
Perco I have not had a conflict but I have not tested with many different gear.
the manual is very well done but you really have to read it's not for nothing that there are a ca ....... I say because I wanted to do without and I struggled ....

I had used an Edirol UA25 USB in a YAM n8 in a 01v firewire and now with an RME card in PCI.
I have had no problems and has instaler configured ca has done alone and I'm usually a Billingsgate for everything related to computer lol
Definitely more stable than what I ca must exist but I have no problems I turn I unplugged it works I always reconnects it works ...

OVERALL OPINION

I use Cubase since already 10 years old + I had sx2 sx3 maitnenant AI4 and the 5 and very honestly I am very very satisfied. the advantage over other software is the visual is very intuitive, so very easy to take control. Biensur they need to understand the basic terms of home environment studio.Que thou wouldst make audio or MIDI it is very easy. The audio has improved dramatically since the previous versions abslouement can do everything, manipulate audio at will!
In short I recommend it to everyone!

Easy install,
it's a bit tricky to configure and understand for a novice but when we know it's going alone.
no incompatibility set apart the vst bridge ......

OVERALL OPINION

for 3 years or so.
I had almost all the Cubases because I started to Atari 520ste when I was about 12 years ... lolj

I love especially for the edition Cubase Midi conaitre be great but if I had to put that aujourdh'ui, I think I would try other sofs more "easy" (I tried Protools 7.4 and finally I returned to my first love which is cubase)

For me the price / quality ratio is not great at the output of soft I find it a bit expensive because times are tough, I've always bought used.
it's cool now we just bought a Cubase element 6 for cheap I found it very good for demarer but the best is to wait a bit and take a Cubase Artist6 lol.


I do it again this choice all the time, I've said, and cubase for me is life now I expect Mr Steinberg that make me a subscription for each release of a new Cubase, a preferential rate well on.
