Installing Mac Pro is simple.
Incompatibility with old projects Cubase LE ... impossibility of reopening some projects Studio 4 ...
Config trs (too) simple and too confusing time. (J'tais in LE, a change not by changing but not as we esprait therefore not forcment the better).
Manuel clear but incomplete as usual.

HD 250 GB, 2x 320 GB HD

The software does not work that great. Even with the updates.
Cubase crashes quite often, to launch in reading or recording.
I almost began to regret Cubase LE ...
The VST are all planted, you find that fair (macintel incompatibility?).
The dcalages, and poor timing of the sound recording is the most dsagrables! Friends drummers, your peace me! Do not expect record more than a minute at a time ...
I who have sacrificed all my heavy-SAVINGS my PC and Cubase LE for Mac Pro + Cubase 4 and find the same problem and worse, well, I am happy !!!!!!!
EDIT: The 2008 Update of fvrier fixes lots of bugs, cpu overload problem, and femetures impromptu. Steinberg thank you to you be rveill.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for several months.
I like the ergonomics cubase.
I like stability and less jemenfoutisme steinberg about their updates ...
I tried Cubase, Logic Pro viteuf, Garageband (but not count) and Cubase SX 2.
I could have version EDU 198 euros. It's still a bit expensive for such a ** Wed.
I added 50 euros and I had a sound card and a free and squenceur STABLE.
I do not know if I would do this choice knowing that Dornava Steinberg ritra the same mistakes in the past without correcting them.
October 2007 Update: Actually, I try not seek a new squenceur because CS4 get drunk. Ok, it's better for the plug but the plant automation, monitoring, too, dtection entries is not automatic (as opposed to LE), it is 10 minutes each time for a rgler nothing a crack has supports Cubase LE files half the time and SAVE THE IMMEDIATELY a project that you have CS4 with Russia opens in another directory under a different name because errors irrcup saddles come frquemment (6 of 8 projects which is to say) and it will be impossible to reopen the project!
