Ahead of NAMM 2015, Lindell have announced the 1176-inspired 77X-500 Compressor and the Pultec-inspired MID-500

Swedish-based Lindell Audio have announced two new 500 series modules for 2015. The first module is the MID-500 EQ, a passive 3-band, Pultec MEQ-style equaliser. Like it’s vintage counterpart, it features high and low frequency boosts and a mid cut. It is made entirely in-house by hand, with all discrete circuitry and a Vintage 1731 OP-amp.

The other module released is the 77X-500, which is an 1176-inspired stereo FET compressor. Capable of running linked or un-linked, the unit features all of the familiar controls found on the classic 1176, including the capability to do “all buttons mode.” It will also feature a mix knob for blending the dry and compressed signals for easy parallel compression.

The modules are currently set to debut at NAMM in January with a release sometime in May. For more information, visit www.lindellaudio.se.
