See the test is very comprehensive.
UTILIZATION
I knew that the Electribe EM1, and I must say that I was right to resell my mc303 to acquire Elecribe Mx ... Very easy to use, I consult the manual (downloaded in French on the forum korg) rarely, extremely intuitive it is a small toy. This was also my main inquitude when purchasing, I was afraid to buy a machine to do anything that would have been the final average to see a machine on all the bad points. After two less use, I do not really regret my purchase. The manual is comprehensive easy to use on almost all points. I use it in live and it is easily made using the ARPEGIO, and on the fly, different melodies. I couple with a tr707 whose clock is controlled by the Mx and the audio is received by the audio in and packed with the generator of internal effect .... COMPRESSOR + LAMPS = Your best friend ... I use lamps also home to warm the sound of old machines.
MOST over the electribe Em1 = the ability to delete a complete pattern .. (More need to clear hand by hand!)

I add one thing ... The ARPEGGIO is monstrous! I use the arpeggio all the time ... an incredible tool! it's really huge, easy to compose anything ...
SOUNDS
About the sounds they are simple, I would say even known to the adept groovebox but so effective ... Sounds the Lynn, TR808, TR909, etc. .... with lamps that changes everything!
The sounds of synths (cfm) are HOnet but not really usable as is (piano, guitars ...) they agree in coaching but no more! Agree to live it ...
The wave generators (chord, dualsynth, etc ...) are really interesting, very minimum is perfect for electro, hip-hop, etc ... What we can do to vitalic or puff diddy!
Several shortcomings:
Outputs 3 and 4 do not pass through the lights ...
The delays, compressor, etc. ... not really edited, but effective live on a component c limit, the words they are of good quality. (The reverb is really bad)
That said ... the sound is really good but lacks a bit of fishing on the lower ...
OVERALL OPINION
Two months of use is I'm very happy!
In time I use it for rhythm and for simple type electro bass.
A big plus point lights!
This machine has character, it has a sound.
One can expensive (840Euros) for this toolbox, but it's worth it ...
After seven months of utilistation, I would not change my Electribe Mx for the world ...
Two years again later ... I separated because it is only useful for live and compose music to hard. This is certainly a good notepad, to do things quickly and have some fun. I'll sell it, will I regret this because it is the arpeggio! it's really nice ...
