The Orange Rockerverb mkii retails at $2149 new. In this price point the Orange is weak competitively. Amps like the Bogner Goldfinger and the Reeves Super '78 dominate it. Even Orange's own AD30 faired more favorably in terms of rock tones. Is it a decent design? Yes. Is it worth the price of admission? In my own opinion, no.

The Shiva is great value in the used market. I feel that overwhelming number of competitors makes little case for the list price of the shiva at $2499. With amps like the Mesa Boogie Royal Atlantic and Bogner's own Goldfinger 45 dominating at the vintage flavored rock game, it is hard to see a proper fit for the Shiva.
The Lonestar is another example of Mesa Boogie's ultra-intelligent approach to laying out feature sets relevant to professional guitarists. The amp is extraordinary value for money considering both list and second hand pricing. Easily one of the finest dedicated clean amplifiers built.
Great amp. Easily a all in one solution for a gigging musician. With a more than passable clean and mid gain sound available, the amp competes with other mid-market channel switchers.
