Micro bought to replace an EMG 81-7 on a ltd signing stef carpenter. I price with a 66-7 for the handle, and the whole cost me a little less than 200 euros all inclusive come doing live states by ebay seller.

I took this model because I want to replace my 81 got too cold and I did not annoy me change all the electronics, EMG pickups as interchangeable very easily. Also the microphone is finally available in bar soap.

The sound is a little warmer and a lot more versatile. No worries potato level also sends very strong if you want. I almost want to replace my other emg 6 strings. I feel that with this set, Emg has found its equivalent in jb / 59 in Seymour, so that's good!

I bought it with his companion and AB 67-7 (after burner to +20 dB). All for € 320 - $ 45 tax included FDP and customs.
To replace a couple of EMG 60-7 in the Channel and a 81 in the bridge + a
PA2 (+20 dB switch) to boost 81-7.
All connected in a Ran 7 Strings.

Clean:
Although it will be more useful for rhythm in Crunch and Disto, The microphone is hot and its presence is nice.
With a flick of AB, it goes to the crunch (81-7 with the AP2 remained on a clean).

Distortion:
The sound is warm, a bit more vintage, but it is mostly better low dosage (useful for 7 strings) that come out the winner.


Go eyes closed I recommend it to all.
In addition the facility is great and frankly the price if not delusional in terms of quality. In any case, my guitar emerges transformed!
