Biggest Ever Audio Mixing Contest is ON!
This is the perfect backup for a gigging guitar player as it will fit on a pedal board or in a gig bag. Electro-Harmonix also makes a 22-watt version of this pedal called the 22 Caliber. The idea of having a power amp in a pedal format is brilliant--if anything happened to mine I'd get another without hesitation. My only gripe with the pedal/amp...
I like everything about it... Tremendous value for the cashito... The quality of the sound and build are top-notch... I have others, this is the best... I would, and probably will, buy more as they become available...They are unfortunately discontinued though I don't know why...
I would replace it in a heartbeat was it lost or damaged. It's such a good amp at such a good price how do you go wrong!
All in all I think the Mosvalve MV962 is a decent power amp to grab if you're on a budget and just want something simple that sounds great and consistent. They aren't made anymore but you can find them used for $200 and under all over the web. If you're a total tube purist you might not dig this, but for someone who just needs power, it's a grea...
If you want a power amp to emulate a tube guitar head section, this isn't your guy. If transparent uncolored tube warmth is the goal, the 50/50 might just be the ticket. I really mean that. For the value this is a great buy. Yeah, I like the more exotic and expensive power amps for some applications, but this is great especially when I'm on ...
As you will find many others saying, this is the power amp that all other competitors judge against as the standard. HUGE lows, cuttings highs, and clarity like none other. Though the price tag is high, there is a reason for it, and in my opinion, it is more than worth it. Clean up your playing style, and enjoy some ridiculously good tone!
First of the power amp I had before was rated 90 watts with 6L6s and can't keep up with this. Actually the 50 watt per side is the Class A rating in A/B it's a 60 watter. I've been using this power amp in my rack for years and it's very much one of the corner stones of my tone.
Basic rock and roll, 70's stuff, old school punk, some blues. As long as it has a good rhythmic backbone. I have several guitars, amps, been playing for about 25 years, guitar and bass. Run a sideline guitar repair business out of my shop at home. Have owned and tinkered with a multitude of different amps, guitars, basses, etc. I look at Musicia...
My friends brother sold it me for a great price of £90. I feel like i robbed him....OH WELL WOW. the first time i switched it on i knew that its amazing, it has great distosion, Very loud (perfect for annoying the teachers at school), 4 different effect, brillient clean channel. I recomend you getting 1 <...
I brought it new from my local guitar shop. Cant remember how much i paid, but it felt like a lot of money. It's sheer grunt! It has ample headroom for loud and firm definition within the entire audio spectrum. Nice solid design, and durable chasis. Clear panel for a great view of those valves. Looks and sounds great. ...
