I love the tones it gives on clean to mid gain settings. It destroys for live guitar applications. The build quality is very high, from the solid chasis to the meaty feeling pots and knobs. However, the toggle on mine became inconsistant and faulty in the first week. At the time I purchased this, the line was not yet in major stores such as Guit...
Overall this is the last tremolo pedal I will ever buy. Fulltone pedals are pricey, but worth it in my opinion. You’re getting a well made pedal that is going to last that has been designed and hand built by a musician. Putting a 5 year warranty on these pedals says a lot too. If I were just looking for a basic tremolo to use sparingly I would...
Fulltone pedals are pricey, but worth it in my opinion. You’re getting a well made pedal that is going to last that has been designed and hand built by a musician. Mike Fuller is a picky man, and it shows in a very good way. Putting a 5 year warranty on his pedals says a lot too. I really like this company and will be purchasing more pedals f...
I wish it had tap tempo for this price, but sadly it doesn't. Maybe I have weird feet but the knob turning issue is a real deal breaker for an otherwise awesome pedal. In terms of sound quality, this might be the best trem I've ever used apart from maybe a couple $400 ones I have.
This is a great fuzz pedal that is a lot of fun to play with. If you fare on the side of light overdrive style of germanium transistor fuzz pedals then you will like this unit a whole lot. If you want something straight out of Smashing Pumkins then you will need a Electro Harmonics Big Muff. The Big Muff will be a whole lot thicker and rounder. ...
I'm not sure why Fulltone messed with the perfection that was the first pedal. Maybe they just wanted to update it (now twice). Maybe Mike Fuller wanted to give people a reason to buy a new pedal? Who knows. All I know is I want my original Fatboost back!
The Fulltone OCD is unique, highly responsive, reliable and cheap. Just about everything you want in a pedal. The sound itself seems to be a hit or miss pedal for a lot of people, with the V4 model taking some heat. But there’s definitely a reason this one has held the “flavor of the month” position a few times now. It sounds great, provides qui...
I think at the 200$ range there are better options out there.I also had problems with the switches on my pedal and was not greeted with the best customer service. There are many people who love fulltone pedals but for me it just was not too inspiring to play.
Overall it's a good pedal to have around and once you get it dialed in it's right there with the rest of the overdrive world. There are many different flavors available these days and this is one of the better ones for me. It is somewhat similar to a tube screamer when used as a boost but a bit clearer. The one thing I do not like is how many di...
My favorite thing about the OCD is its creamy, never ending, violin-like sustain. Like other Fulltone pedals, the build quality and components are excellent. I compared this pedal to the Fulltone Fulldrive II Mosfet, which was equally amazing, but comparing these two pedals would be like comparing apples and oranges. The Fulldrive is a supped up...
