This is a very highly used pedal from Fulltone. A great versatile pedal that is capable of some heavy distortion grind and boosting options. At new these units come in at a round $170. Not a bad price for two pedals in one. I would recommend this pedal to anyone who needs a solid overdrive pedal and boost function in one unit. The ...
I know that Fulltone has now discontinued the building of these pedals and for good reason....they sound terrible! It sounds like a bad Boss pedal trying to be something its not. It won't sound like a tube screamer and it won't sound like the OCD. The OCD might be one of the best overdrive pedals ever created. The Distortion Pro is one of Fullto...
This is a cool little pedal for those who want a basicaly two channel fuzz/overdrive box. I know they don't advertise it as a two channel box but the spark/flame switch really changes things up to which constitutes my opinion that it is two channels. At new these units come in at $150. Not a bad price for a cool little fuzz box. I w...
It really is too bad that this item is discontinued. They do have a reissue model but like everything you always want a first addition. I would recommend this pedal to anyone wanting to recreate that old Jim tone. They are discontinued so I would pick up a reissue if this is the particular tone you are seeking.
This is a great fuzz pedal that is a lot of fun to play with. If you fare on the side of light overdrive style of germanium transistor fuzz pedals then you will like this unit a whole lot. If you want something straight out of Smashing Pumkins then you will need a Electro Harmonics Big Muff. The Big Muff will be a whole lot thicker and rounder. ...
This is a fantastic pedal that is capable of so many options and versatility. At new these units come in at around $150 which is a steal in my opinion. To basically have two pedal in one for the price of most single overdrives is great. That is probably why this pedal is one of Fulltone's highest sold units. I would recommend this p...
This is a unique overdrive from Fulltone, and very popular for good reason. Using it over a clean channel is like adding a whole new drive channel to your amplifier. With the right combination of pickups and amp, it also makes a great boost.
I have used this pedal for many years with loud clean amps, I know of guys that aren’t too fond of it. However most of them tend to use it with amps with gobs of pre-amp gain. I can see how all that cascaded gain would make for a fuzzed out mess. The only other pedal that turns a clean amp into a high gainer is the Emma Reezafratzitz RF-1.
I would pass on this pedal. It is pretty inexpensive coming in new at around $125, but I think you can pass on it if you don't have long effects chains or long cables. Fulltone products are made to high quality standards so this pedal is very good quality but not a real need for it in my opinion. I probably would only reccomend this...
This is a great pedal. It is a little expensive but it is worth the money to get a wah that sounds this natural. This one is price around $245 nowadays. Not a bad pick up to add to your pedal board. I actually own two of these units. One I keep with one rig and I have the other for my home rig. I would recommend this wah for any gui...
