Western Digital My Book 500 Go Essential Edition : JayDMusic's user review

This is a great little drive. It's a good size for an external, and I use it to store my various sounds and back-up .wavs. It's a solid little drive, but not so small that you feel like if you sit on it, it will go bust. It's not too loud, either. It doesn't require much in the way of software, and it's Western Digital, so you know that it's a good piece of equipment. Western Digital drives run quietly, and cool. Heat to a hard drive is very bad, and this one seems to not be so large that you can't put it anywhere, but no so small that it turns into an inferno the second the drive starts spinning. It's a great way to transport data around with you, and with the WD name, it's all worth it.
