It sounds nice, in fact very nice!
The controls are a bit confusing but thats just because im thick
English made, you cant get much better! Very well made, ive kicked it, sat on it, thrown it and nothing has happened.
If you like me are buying a guitar and amp, try and strike a deal with the salesman to get the it cheaper. Because you could go elsewhere and they want your cash

Published on 09/23/04 at 15:00Muscians friend, it was cheap and I wanted a cheap Marshal amp, I paid $100.
Its small, has great tone and lots of features. Its the best practice amp you can buy if you are just starting to play guitar. Plays weel at high and low volumes and can be used for any style of music. The CD in and emulated line out are great plusses too. Its not too heavy, not too light, not too loud, not too quiet and definately not too expensive. Its just right.
Not quite loud enough for jamming with a band if you have a loud drummer or bassist. I dont like the contour feature on the EQ that much.
Very durable. Has survived 4 years of college and several viscious attacks from my dog.

i like the fine quality of any marshall product and buying used equipment i felt safe because of the name
the sound is better than any amp i have ever owned
wish i could buy a tube amp or this could sound more tube like
the name marshall say it all
this is a top of the line beginners or practice amp well worth the price
if you want more sound expect to pay for it

it has a lot of distortion and it is easy to set the equilizer (seeing as the equilizer has only three knobs).it is of decent size and sound.i thought 15W wasnt loud but if you turn the volume to 5-7 it is enough to hear from your driveway.
it has i lot of backround sound and that's about it.
it is of good quality seeing as it is Marshall.
