UTILIZATION

As I said previously there qoi deal especially if we start as was the case when I purchased this amp in 98.
A t the era I marveled at the sound but with a left back but I adsir could get the sound I was looking for very easy and especially thanks to the manual and super clear.

SOUNDS

It suited my style of music (heavy) I played with an Epiphone G400 LH rises with a micro EMG 60 (neck) and EMG 81 (bridge) and a Zoom Tri Metal
sound has become a long and clear channel trs disappointing lack of fullness too bland and too thin overdrive lack of punch (among so I was playing on mesa) and I know the difference and its incomparable view overwhelming but good sound marshall TEWT disappointing all their chelon amp either lamp or hybrid transo but the price I would say you are rather attractive.
Most of this amp is the power that the sound becomes mushy when you push the watts and stereo chorus. I tried the vs265 with a baffle and bin extention has lost!

What I like most about this is that apli is compact, lightweight and has 3 channel, and there is always in short, it's great when you will make little beef, I do not need to lug my heavy hardware (I also have a tube amp mesaboogie, the massacre lol)

SOUNDS

Clean neutral frankly, it always left me indifferent, we can do much better. OD 1: this is the best channel. Looking back (purchase 98) this is really bluesy crunch with a nice attack.
OD 2: At first I was seduced. Now, what imprecision! But I play a lot of metal, the rhythm is very dirty but still good it can happen. When you release the agreements is the trouble, solo worth anything, it is unintelligible to be metallic and very shallow.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 7 years. And here is the end. I will spent at MESA.
I wish it were a Marshall, its power and 2 HP. Its intuitive, easy to use.
The sound somewhat like but over the years is the point behind (not low) for me, the sound is undefined, cold OD2. And do not connect the pedal on the clean channel, the pedal is literally unnatural.

At the time I felt like I bleed level price, but now we must say that the price / power / look is excellent. The amp I'm dreaming, especially because I go to Marshall. 7 years ago I would do this choice. For cons, I waited too long to change it!

UTILIZATION

-I never read any manual, unless there's nothing really works in less than 10 minutes.

-A typical transistor, I would never compare it to a tube sound ...
Very versatile, we regret the stereo effect loop to its predecessor the 8280.
-Coupled with my GX700, the beast spit venom easier because, admittedly, the distortion channels are ... Rather mild and friendly than aggressive and deep.
-To add the additional baffle: put the combo on, connect the cables and enjoy The difference is striking power.

SOUNDS

As I said, there's no lights. some c ... light for many of the large metal Bourin. There's no photo, compare apples to apples. That's rock while nice, unpretentious.

I quite like the reliability of the machine. NEVER any worries. Sound still too powerful, even in the face of live lamps.

OVERALL OPINION

Always used, I wanted to replace my old 8080 (bin like everyone else, I had one) by 8280 (very nice stereo effects), but Marshall had come to market. The vs265 attracted me so there are now nearly 10 years.

At the time, not possible to achieve the budget for mesa or laney or tsl and good ... I had an undeniably attractive price ...

Amp hybrid, one 12AX7 preamp in order to give personality to the sound. Marshall Gold Back 2HP .3 channels, 2x60 watts, reverb with two separate settings Clean / Crunch-Disto. A chorus on the same principle to dress the whole.
A MIDDLE BASS TREBLE equalizer for the clean channel, another for channels (crunch-distortion)
A tone-shift switch mediums to dig in Clean.
A power switch dimension common to all channels to simulate low-volume, has pushed an amp block.
A knob "contour" crunch distortion in the medium to dig or cut (very effective).
A headphone jack, a loop effect, DI filtered output stereo.

Very simple to use, all settings are immediately audible and effective.

I have 10 years I think.

Sunday for a player like me I give it 1 October

12AX7 preamp tube and transistor amplifier.
2x65-watt amp => 130 watts stereo.
The construction is particularly strong: in concert, I jumped on it many times with my guitar on my shoulder and 80 kg, it did not budge. He fell several times (cold thankfully) and there is still going strong ... There's no secret, Marshall is solid.
Effects: reverb excellent spring (3), stereo chorus incredible efficiency and expressiveness. 2 channels: clean and crunch / distortion. 3 channel EQ on each channel. Switches "bright" to add clarity to the sound and "power dimension" that simulates the operation of the lamp pushed to the bottom ...!

UTILIZATION

Configuration simple: you plug the jack, you go up the sound (not too much, 130 watts anyway!) And it sounds good. In Revenge, for one its really proper, you have to spend time (a lot) and learn to tame the EQ and play with the little switches.

Manuel? What manual? The day I would read a textbook, it will be for an iron!

It is perfect for my style of music that is: all the music! Of course, I play mostly rock. I bought this amp 6 years ago in an individual who sold it because his neighbor could not withstand the fiery solos!

What I like most:
-Strength
It's clean
Disto-sound "plaintive"
-Between him and me is a love story and that's it!

What I like least:
The power-too important. Even in the open air, you do not push it fully, it is well worth the power of a 100W lamp ... I can tell you
Its weight-! seriously, it weighs as heavy as a dead donkey!

Value for money: love!
