Made in Ireland. I bought it in 1980!. I did 5 years ago rviser (change frets and installation of a micro SPECIFICATIONS: double nut)
I have used for over 20 years in acoustics and is assembled to sing discrtes sometimes not (like 3rd half ..): what power!
It is in perfect state and rpond still perfectly all my requests.
I now connected rgulirement a multi effects pedals ZOOM A-2.1U and an AER amp that gives me opportunities that I have only glimpsed

UTILIZATION

With a wide neck (Necessary for my big hands), it is easy to play. I team rope Elixir Nanoweb phosphor bronze, light and get a fantastic sound.
Jumbo size makes it comfortable and keeping his weight does not inconvnient Submitted, even around the neck for over an hour.
Caution may be for small jigs and small hands!

SOUNDS

I play the picking, folk amricain and French (trans. and miscellaneous), song Franaise ..
I love the sound in open tuning (R), like Steve Waring (instrumental), John Renbourn (Black Balloon), Pierre Bensusan ...
The tense of the possibilities of this guitar is awesome. It allows you to be expressive and efficient trs, to vary the sound output, ... It rpond trs well to pulling-off effects, hammering-on, harmonics, ..
Obviously, no intrt for sounds saturated electrical ...

OVERALL OPINION

I have thirty years. Although I had some sr affairs with younger, more and more Fraches lgantes ... trs but soon the lack of tone, lack of personality brought me back to my Lowden Fidler.
I bought a LAG electro-acoustic cuttaway I tried guitars in shops Normann, of Taylor, Takamine, ... but it is difficult taient play, or they me dcevaient noise level.
I'm not planning to spare. At worst, if that becomes necessary, I'd refinished by my luthier (Mr. Dupont Cognac) who told me that silent trs healthy and could go on, several more DCEN .. .!
