Biggest Ever Audio Mixing Contest is ON!
I love the editing and ease of use... The value for what you get is very high... The sounds are plentiful but not the greatest.... I have owned other digital modelers and this is the most comprehensive...Although they all sound digital.... It's a good product though- especially for begi...
Overall it is an improved POD definitely. Not by much though. Don't be persuaded by the "HD" title. You've got to try it out for yourself to see if this is something worth investing into. It's not expensive, but it will take TIME to play around with. And of course, TIME is the most important thing of course depending on each player. Some just wa...
It's a collection of good, usable amp and effects tones, for not much money. And it is a lifesaver on a recording session - especially if a "signature tone" type amp goes down, this box can be plugged in to save the day. With some EQ and compression, the tones can be nearly indistinguishable from the originals in many cases. If one still turns o...
Overall you cant go wrong with this, there are some great effects with the flanger and delay’s along with some chorus. It has all of the presets that you will need to add to your creativity and take your playing to another level. I high recommend this, well I highly recommend anything From the company POD. They have always created top quality pr...
I've discussed what I like about this device. The only issue I have with it now is that I'd only use it for recording, and Line 6 has already developed Amp Farm plug-in software, which does an excellent (possibly even better) job of emulating amplifiers. So I would probably have to recommend that over the Bass Pod, unless you can get it really c...
If you are just looking for a POD HD unit for studio work this is it even though the other units would work just as well. You are not saving much money by getting this unit so I would recommend you just get the 500 instead. You can tell the HD line was intended to be live board based. You can use the desktop unit but using the floor unit is so m...
I think Line 6 is one of the best if not the best companies out there who provide solid effect units for the all-in-one consumer who wants to keep things simple and clean. I would play this unit any day of the week. I don't use too much effects so something like this is perfect for me and it is perfect for home use! At new you can...
The thing I enjoyed most about this unit was the cool delay and flanger sounds. This is a unit I would use sparingly when I needed to color my natural amp tone with some delays or flanger. I would never use this to get an amp sim or sound that I did not normally have. The is a great intro to the POD family. They run about ...
For a practice device, this works great. You can take it with you no matter where you go and start jamming with some headphones. However, it's still that standard Line 6 tone which means that it still feels sterile and sounds a bit grainy.
When I had one of these it was great. I don't know if at the current price point it would be worth it to pick up a POD or POD 2.0 and this floorboard or a used POD XT Live. I now own a POD XT Live, but if I didn't have either, I probably would pick up the XT Live instead to avoid a large number of connections in and out of the POD and across t...
