In terms of pure characteristics is simply excellent:
A good idea to combine a looper and a multi-purpose simulator, amp etc.. work at home for what could be better? you plug this thing and just magic!
It's really very complete and we expect something excellent: adjustable microphone input, auxiliary input for an audio source, an instrument more (bass, keyboard, second guitar) and a main entrance dedicated to the guitar. MP3 input, headphone amplifier, stereo etc..
Brief foot.

Still flat the footswitches are plastic ... so that the case inspires confidence .. I had an X3 live recently. One of the plastic footswitch broke ... It's a pedal off for serious if we do a lot of scenes, rehearsals etc. ..

UTILIZATION

Overall, it's not complicated to use.
The downside for me is setting effects remains limited. The manual is quite clear.

THE looper does what you ask is well ...

The ergonomics are just right.

SOUND QUALITY

Where the expectations soar ...
The pre-recorded tracks are all excellent simpele to play along. Quality recording studio! brilliant!
we say: I'll have fun hua with that, too nice ..
Yes, but then, what disappointments!

The quality of the bypass is more than mediocre, it's absolutely terrible! My stratocaster loses its glitter, its clarity. The sound is not at all energetic and alive! it sounds like cardboard ... never mind ... humpf try the amp simulations ...

Ouch ... It still lacks treble, the sound is synthetic, it does not sing .. Phew big disappointment. The dynamic is absolutely nonexistent. Yet I have owned a X3 still sounded much much better.

The effects are just horrible .. it simplemtn the carnage! metal to perfection, never natural cherry is that we can not even "catch up" since they are not really customizable.

Play along the tracks pre-recorded studio quality quickly becomes very discouraging.
After I tried it with a Start with a Gibson SG, saying it would be better. Naive.

I tried to finish with a bass: Warwick Fortress One. Although there are not even count. The looper does not know the frequencies below a 100 hertz. result you can always push the bass on the preamp in the bass, you'll never ... I even tried to connect a SansAmp Para Driver to catch everything. Same result for the bass. Only for the guitar that it gets better slightly.

The character known to growl Warwicks no longer exists. The amp models are not dedicated to bass, he can not get better than its cardboard worthy of a multi-purpose unnamed 30 euro bought second hand.

It's absolutely disappointing

OVERALL OPINION

If you like the sound of your instrument, especially do not buy this "thing". So attractive at first, yet it is the worst purchase I have done in music.

There are only recorded tracks that are great. all the money in development of the pedal is spent in studio recording sessions with artists ... we pay a high price for the toy.

If you can test it, go ahead, you'll be disappointed, but do not buy. Watch more on the side of Boss and Digitech. These two brands are certainly not pre-registered pattern excellent but it does not sound like puff the fact that JM4.
I never redeem a looper designed by line6 .. almost 300 euros in the trash, what am I stupid!
