UTILIZATION

The handle is unusual. It must be taken in hand to understand. It depends on you it may be the face of everyone, but for my part, I never found such comfort!

UTILIZATION

Rather than the technical side, I will try instead to talk about here on the aesthetic, highly subjective and futile point I agree, but we must recognize that this criterion plays a rather large, if not dominant in moment of choice (remember Wayne's World)! In my humble opinion, this is what one might call a very nice guitar. Yet before the choice, I was more attracted to the shapes Start '. The quasi-symmetry of the body is there for something. Its curves are terribly feminine! The head is not as beautiful as the Arkane but its shape is smooth. The cherry color is well worth all. You want to tighten it against you, and that's what is important! In short, the slogan "Rock Chic" Lag suits him perfectly (I admit that this is the first time in my life that I assume have been influenced so much by the pub!).

UTILIZATION

The neck is incredibly fast, at least for me who had just acoustic world, I was not used to such gameplay. Faster than a Start 'and obviously not commensurate with an LP. You can play for hours with this guitar without finishing with a wrist and fingers destroyed. An happiness. Very good for the Elixir strings. My only downside will also like other testers of the key.
The access to the latest box is excellent for the treble but for serious.
As some point out, sitting comfort at stake is not optimal because of its very pronounced curves (they are so beautiful!). I mainly play blues and rock on a Vox amp, and confirm the impression from other testers: it sounds round, hot, almost feline ...
Obviously the sound possibilities are multiplied with the splitting of the microphones. A config that I like: double neck pickup / volume to 75%, acute simple micro / 100% volume, tone and selector max in a central position: in this crunch is my grunt-logical.

It took me a little change the respective heights of the original pickups because the differences in output levels were too marked (bass and treble a bit soft too slammin). Delta still a little but it's satisfying.

OVERALL OPINION

Choosing a new guitar for me is more love story than a reasoned choice. Some technical details are involved, certainly, but above all it's eye contact and who will enter more into play. I tried a little of everything before you fall for it, rather in the U.S. market. We are sometimes surprised, a guitar class that was found good enough to eat in magazines can be found in your hands and ... the magic does not operate. Then they said well that's it I think I found (for me it was a wonderful opportunity to Start U.S. spotted in a shop in Paris) ... And this little Roxane you never dared to look too far because it probably was not the stand of "great", appears on your knees like that by accident (at the base was to try an amp!). The factory settings were fairly disastrous for cons, I had to take a whole afternoon to repeat for my taste (but the shop would he not do it before I sell it, usually?).

After several weeks of use, not only the charm remains, but is increasing from session to session. The choice was passionate but it is nevertheless very reasonable. We are in the presence of a finely crafted instrument, very expressive, with world-class microphones, for a price we are lying in the strata of the U.S. standard Gibson SG. To see if the models now made in China have kept the same quality manufacturing ... it remains otherwise the Roxane Prestige but there is no longer in the same price range!

soon as I put fingers on the guitar I realized that it was made for me. The neck is super nice, the guitar is lighter than a Gibson and better balanced I think. Very good access to treble. The split on the mic is more useful.

SOUNDS

For rock, pop, blues is perfect, versatile and with his personality. There is a parentage with the Les Paul but with a character.
I play on an all-tube Traynor YCV and it rocks. in this crystal clean, precise, and it sends distos heavy.
