1 volume for each pickup and a general tone of standard quality.

UTILIZATION

Channel Lumberjack 5 strings but requires no gene in the comfort of game
Heavy enough to play standing but not insurmountable.

Access to the latest proper frets as on all Fender Jazz Bass like.

One branch is closed nickel tone. You must love the high mids intermediate tone. If you have the misfortune (or happiness) to turn the tone background we get a sound to Marcus Miller or Pastorius: love it or do not like, it is still necessary to have 1/10th of their talent to start enjoy.
To slap it's ideal.
If severe rope sounds good and can address all styles and different thanks to its extended range.

SOUNDS

Suitable for all styles but more comfortable on the Pop, Funk, Jazz Funk fusion and even reggae.

Its very basic medium tone and closed mid-high open with the maple fingerboard, very incisive slap tone.

Whatever the amp sounds good from a 100 w.
Closed very nice tone. The sound of the string If serious.
I almost never use the tone fully open because too steep for me.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year, 5 very honest strings bought € 365 new.

Many other models of the same price and even more expensive ones have a rope If serious rotten.
Count double or triple the price for nine more.

The 5th string is really a plus for some styles and avoids disjointed and change tunings.

The quality is there for the price no problem.

I remake this choice without hesitation because I think this is the only 5-string bass that sounds in this price range.

I got this bass in the workshop to make changes to the customer's request and went to a nice surprise surprise!
It is therefore an opinion maker than user.

Very good surprise at the equipment for an instrument made in Indonesia.

The cavities are shielded electronic, amazing at this price!
In addition, the trapping of micro severe (hidden by the plate) is large enough, we can put any type of microphone (if you change or rework the plate recess) to replace the simple JB.

The knobs are Alpha (one of the best brands with CTS and Bourns).
In the end the only weak point is the no-name jack

There are mesh edge touches the frets would have won but to be a little more rounded on the edge

TUSQ nut type, and not a poor plastic! Once again amazing for the price!

The neck is satin finish and the body is gloss. A good idea to lower the price without sacrificing too much finish the look.
The gloss being longer to a satin finish.
Frankly varnish is much better than some much more expensive instruments.

The bridge and the mechanical are pretty basic, like vintage.
The trick in damage mechanics is that it requires a hole of 18.5 mm on the head, it limits the choice if you want to change to a lighter model example.

There is no strap lock

8/10, the maximum score (considering the price) failed because of little diameter mechanical jack frets and no-name disappointing compared to Alpha knobs.

UTILIZATION

Handle for a pleasant 5-string with a central flat.

It is quite heavy but well balanced against.

Obviously access to the latest box is typical Fender, ie zero. The heel is not profiled and screws are retained by a plate (which adds depth to the heel) rather than ferrules embedded in the wood.

7/10, the weight and the heel are lower note. A Fender JB sum.

SOUNDS

The opinion of the original customer pickups, 2 single Duncan Design are quite correct.

All maple (key, handle and body) so its pretty bright and slamming.

No note I have not connected.

OVERALL OPINION

I bleuffé the quality components for the price.
I never believed in the cavities shielded knobs alpha, TUSQ nut types.

This quality for this price = 10/10!

Indonesian manufacturing. Maple neck and body also, the neck profile C (which gives it a rather extraordinary comfort of games), has 20 frets and a three-ply pickguard. 2 Seymour Duncan single microphone mounted Alnico 5 magnets.

It's a Jazz Bass knobs so two microphones for controlling the volume of each knob and a tone!

UTILIZATION

The handle is a marvel, despite its width since it is a five string. This is a bass heavy but well balanced. While the handle is easily accessible. It's a Jazz so we turned back and everything has its ringing round. My biggest surprise on this bass just the fifth string, it's unbelievable but I would speak more in just after "sounds"

SOUNDS

So what about the sound. I buy a Squier because I wanted an inexpensive low. Being at the base guitarist and pianist I had little knowledge regarding low, I heard about this bass from a friend who would like a music store, I first try the 4-string model and ultimately no real surprise on this model. A few months later he ordered the 5 string model because he knew I was looking for a project a Lower Hip-Hop, so some things that sounds round and deep. AND big surprise, the bass plugged into a Mark Bass, I thought playing on a real Fender Jazz Bass, fishing, depth, accuracy for all levels, really impressed with was a low 300 euros!

I have therefore bought without hesitation and I got confirmation that a really cool bass. I re-record all my parties with my Squier bass because the sound is really incredible and extremely simple to fit into a mix and sounded really do! Also I use a lot of effect such as Fuzz, Chorus, Delay ... etc. and she flinched without any cash, the sound may be a wish or fat like never end.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for some time but without hesitation I would do this choice! Quality / price ratio in my opinion difficult to beat, say that I would not recommend the 4 string model that really sounds worse. When you see the technical characteristic of the beast we are entitled to have asked when the reliability and the sound of a beautiful but ultimately it's a real good bass and, for me, really the level the semi-pro bass pro show with some small change as happened in the active or changed the pickups!
