Waves showcased at Winter NAMM 2014 the new SoundGrid Studio software platform for Mac OS X and Windows.
The Waves SoundGrid Studio system is a real time network and software processing platform designed to make your work in studio easier with an open architecture that supports third-party plug-ins (VST, AU, AAX).
SoundGrid Studio comprises the SG Studio Application control station that allows for managing the Soundgrid network from your computer, the eMotion ST Mixer software mixer in which you will run the plug-ins, with 8 mono/stereo inputs, 2 stereo effect busses, 6 stereo aux busses and 8 inserts per channel. Last, the StudioRack virtual plug-in app can be seen as the bridge between SoundGrip DSP and Pro Tools HDX DSP and gives access to the plug-in settings with MIDI control support.
The SoundGrid Studio supports ASIO and Core Audio drivers. It ships for free with the DiGiGrid interfaces. More info at www.waves.com/soundgrid-studio.
