UTILIZATION

The handle is nice, less flat than a RG, but it's still easy to play, with good access to acute.
I personally had a problem when I got this guitar and others have probably also encountered this problem:
The handle was poorly resolved (the curve was too steep, so the strings were too high, affecting the comfort of the game).
A good setting has arranged things, now I take great pleasure in playing the guitar, but it's a shame to receive a guitar as set incorrectly, especially when the seller is an idiot who does not want to make the setting free because according to him "it is normal that the handle is bent."
So I think it was not a coincidence that now Ibanez says "5pc Wizard III Maple / Walnut neck-thru w / KTS ™ TITANIUM Reinforcement" in the features of this guitar, it seems that they made a small correction to the handle.

The mahogany body is large, the guitar is quite heavy, and it tends to take a nosedive when playing standing.

The bridge is quite comfortable is does not affect the playability

Regarding the metal, this guitar style which is intended, it is easily a good sound, the microphones are made for it, even if they are not excellent.

SOUNDS

The sound of this guitar are quite my style of play, that is to say the rhythmic rather heavy metal (System of a Down, Deftones, Gojira).
The mahogany body provides good resonance and sustain it a good advantage the bass and low mids.
The Di Marzios are not bad, but they just do the trick. Their output level is quite surprising. However we can blame them for a lack of warmth and precision and are very showy in the treble.
So I changed it to the bridge Seymour Duncan SH4 by which I am very happy because it brings warmth and precision lacking in the guitar and it combines very well with mahogany tones.
Since this change I am quite pleased with the sounds of that instrument that I now use with ultra fx axis.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar for 3 years, and after a few mishaps on the handle, that my store took time to settle properly and the bridge pickup which did not suit me I am absolutely satisfied in terms of comfort and sound.
Apart from this concern round the setting is absolutely nickelle finish, this guitar is beautiful (except benchmarks shark teeth that I'm not a fan).
The quality / price is right.
With the experience I have trouble buying this new guitar knowing that there will be a microphone to change, I can be rather orienterai to the occasion.
I particularly recommend changing the bridge pickup Seymour Duncan SH4 not, SH5, SH6 or as the Iceman Daron Malakian.
