firstly.. to iamqman's review below, I'm not sure he even knows what he's reviewing because this is NOT a "modelling" amp. It's ALL real electronics, actual circuitboards that switch path when you switch the amp model, it's a solid state (+tube) AMP. The DSP/Software side comes in when switching profiles/amps it changes the 'sound' of the on-board EQ points and some other things to mimic the originals more closely. Again, the actual sound is going through real hardware, real electronics... this has NOTHING to do with Fender's follow up and lower rent actual modelling amps.

I suggest his review is ignored entirely as describing it as a "computer with a speaker on" is highly inaccurate, it has nothing to do with the line 6/POD type of emulation either, it's not 'pure software'.

The AMP and it's smaller brother (Cyber Deluxe) are great little amps, misunderstood by many (inc @iamgman sadly) due to the inclusion of some DSP tech and profiling features/FX from the digital realm. Fender created a really unique piece with the Cyber's switching actual circuits and real hardware/electronics when you change amp type (not software).

It has its downsides but if you treat them as VERY GOOD solid state amps then you'll not hear much better vs other solid states. If you wanted a deluxe reverb real tube obv you'll need to go get one, but for everything else this does a great little job for what it is and how much you can now grab them for.

After testing many amps to find the right rock sound, I instantly fell in love with the Fender Cyber Delux at our downtown music shop. This amp is perfect for the musician ready to move out of the garage and onto the stage. Packed with good factory sounds as well as the capability to tweak every effect combination so you can create exactly what you want, the Cyber Delux will be an amp that will excede your expectations. It was pricy, $699, but worth every penny when you figure all the effects pedals you won't have to buy to get the sound you want.

I like the 32 programable settings of the cyber delux and its superb fender amp modeling. It was very easy to get started playing, and after reading the manual i was blown away by the capabilities Fender has packed into this machine. Get the kids some earplugs because this baby can scream. I went out to the country to jam on a buddy's porch, at half volume this amp rattled my rib cage.

Didn't like... Perhaps i'm asking too much, but i wish it came with a wah pedal as well as the four channel foot switch.

Heavy construction as far as i've noticed. Good space inside the cabinet for the foot switch and various cables.

Great first nice amp for any level of player. Lots of effects to keep you interested and lets your music grow.

I got this amp at Sound Control in Edinburgh, it cost me £599. I got it because I had surpassed my old marshall amp and needed a gig amp, and I am to clumbsy for Valve, so this is perfect.

Almost everything. The distortion is amazing, from the obviously Hendrix inspired "Red House" lead setting to the Zakk wylde style distortion of Drop D'd and Dual Richter. It all there, and the first thing you notice is how warm it is. The amp modeling is spot on, the brittish amp presets sound as good as their marshall counter parts (a TSL 60 watt combo) and everythign is great. The effects too, satisfy everything you would need, btu not everythign you would want

No wah, but thats easily fixed with the upgraded pedal. The 10 cents flat LED on the tuner is broken, its on when it should be off, but thats all. But Basically I love it to bits.

It weighs about 24 kgs, and as far as i know, it can survive most things you throw at it, plus its not valve, so its not got any fragile parts. Built like a bunker, with better aesthetics.

A brilliant amp for anyone who can't quite find that sound or tone, or anyone who can and loves it, its there for you, and its great

I bought this friggin amazing amp at a local music store "Victor Litz" near my house it was 700$

Te Fender Cyber Deluxe has the most accurate sounding tones to the vintage amps it "Becomes"
its just like a tube amp if u crank it up it will start to get distorted. I just love the deep warm tone that this amp has.The controls are simple to use on stage if u need to change something before a gig and the amp is a perfect practice amp to it has a trim knob that lets you measure how much volume u need.the noise gate and compression on this amp are really good to.The Fender Cyber Deluxe is deffinately worth each penny.

What i don't like about the cyber deluxe was that it should have included two speakers for stereo amplification.Actualy thats my only beef with this amp other then that its great!

the cyber deluxe has one 12 inch celestion speaker which sounds awesome.It doesnt have casters the would have been an improvment.the amp can also withstand sopme falls my amp fell from my table which is like two feet high and it still works normal.

This amp is deffinately worth every dollar it is th e best thing to get instead of buying a thousand dollar tube amp u can get the same tones with extra features for only 700$.

i purchased this fine, lightly used amp for $540 off eBay. this was compared to the local music shop that had a slightly used one for $899!

i'd known about the cyber-twin, but at the time wasn't near a good enough guitarist, not to mention the price & size.

so far, there's nothing i don't like. honestly, it's the last amp i'll ever buy or probably play. period.

there's so much to "tweak", the sounds are unlimited. the presets (effects & amp collection) are priceless.

this is being very picky & i know there is an expanded stompBox, but it's the only thing i could think to complain about.

i've heard others bitch about "no casters". i'm sure it would get heavy if i were lugging it into/out of bars, but it's very small for the enormous sound. lighter than i'd expected after seeing in local music store.

others can say what they want, for me fender amps are very well-built. this is my third & all have been 100%.

* actually, i did have to change the input jack on my old tweed bronco, but i think my bro may have unplugged "incorrectly" from across the room...

best amp on the market.

for sound quality/features/# of sounds/looks/size/quality in construction/price/etc, there's not one that can touch it.

Well I was shopping for an affordable quality amp for gigs and practice. I wanted a tube amp with alot of power, but I was dissapointed with the fact that tube amps are very expensive.
My old amp was a Line 6 it was bitchen but I didn't want to pay to have it fixed it was getting old and I wanted a new amp with a warranty. I played the Cyber deluxe for the first time at Guitar center in Covina CA .

This amp is small, but it packs a punch! I turned it up to 4 it was hanging with drums. I turned it up louder it sounded so clean I could not believe my ears. It has so many different sounds possible its crazy. The amp models in the factory presets are outstanding at all volume levels. There are some really cool presets. For the money its the best amp out there. Fender amp modeling technology smokes Line 6s' this amp sounds better than my old favorite. Oh and it comes with a four switch preset stomp box!

There are no wheels.

Its Fender tough.

Modeling Amp

Side conection, it is well equipped, I'm not going to go into detail but everything is there.
Side look, it remains in the Fender tradition, thus far it is noticeable, which is not bad because it prevents the public warned to rush on stage to take the references of stuff!.

UTILIZATION

My music style is blues rock, but sometimes I lose myself in the world of hardcore.

I play on Fender (Telecaster, Stratocaster) and LINE 6 (Variax 700)

OVERALL OPINION

I own this amp for a month.
It is very versatile but retains a personality Fender, which is a plus compared to its concurence.
I tried a lot of amps in the 65 W class and there's no photo, it stands out against Marshall - Flextone 3 - VOX and other modeling amps.
Attention as prices quoted by store the other you can have more than 400 e variance for info it is easy to find, I bought a small shop in Aix en Provence.

This is a modeling amp with integrated effect section. The power is 65 watts. It is equipped with a hp twelve inches. We have a variety of settings including: 3-band EQ, gain, volume, master volume, entry-level choice of the modeled amp, save settings etc. .. The connection is very full, especially with an emulator hp stereo output, the possibility to connect another amp to get sound in stereo. An entry and exit south. However, I regret the absence of speaker output. The weight is still very reasonable (about twenty kilograms). It has a tuner whose effectiveness is not absolute, but helps out.

UTILIZATION

Despite numerous commands, usage is simple and intuitive. You panic a little during the first five minutes and then everything is fine. However, the possibilities are immense. We can save a large number of very different sounds, from clean "tube amp fifties" in its "stack high gain modern" and even save them to a computer. SOUNDS

I used this amp with several guitars: Les Paul Standard, Start Plus, dot ES 335, Variax 500. Each time, I am very happy with the sound. I do not pretend that it is better than a tube amp, but found the sound without spending two hours working out with a noise level not too high and we have no lamps to change (which is very expensive when you have a Vox or Mesa lamps at 12-13). The sounds are of high quality and it would take too long to detail all of them. Note only that the amp delivers beautiful harmonics. In terms of effects, the reverberations are splendid. They transform the sound color. Other effects are good (chorus, tremolo, phaser ...) However, the manual is not worth wha a real wah pedal and the machine is very noisy: it looks like a duck that sings. The compressor and noise gate complete this outfit complete. The sounds of plants are too demonstrative for use on stage. Better to make his own recordings. One regret, however, when playing at high volume, sound becomes less clear, especially in saturation, it is very correct, but I think a decision to add a HP would have solved this little problem.

OVERALL OPINION

J'ulise this amp for 3 years and I still have two years warranty ... is noteworthy. I think it is a good alternative to cyber twin, more efficient, but also heavier and bulky. It is without doubt the best amp I had. It offers tremendous opportunities for a limited size, ease of maintenance and utilistation zero (no lights). He convinced me of the benefits of modeling. Maybe we will say it does not imitate to perfection particular amp, but it is not important: it offers modern and classical sounds great qualities and it was most needed to walk with ten pedals and all adapters and cables. The value for money is convincing, especially as this last fall.
