MakeMusic Finale 2006c French version
Installation without any problems, the software comes on two CDs (to contain the Garritan VST plug-in of about 1GB). The installation options are selected at the beginning, you can choose to install (or not) Finale, Finale Performance Assessment and Garritan.
No conflict, unless one wants to walk for non-VSTi powered by Native Instruments Kontakt
The intuitive configuration could not be simpler, and allows the user guide in the worst case to navigate easily.
The 200-page manual contains lessons for learning basic (very) beginner in twenty lessons very detailed and clearly explained. This is very useful for those who want to start in musical notation.
The real instructions are provided on the CD in PDF sections of 44 chapters more appendices. I personally did not read ...
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
PC Tandytronic on ASUS P5GV-MX with Intel Pentium 4 3.40 GHz (3.71 GHz overclock) 1GB of RAM, a 300GB Serial ATA hard disk partitioned, SoundMax audio chipset and controller MIDI keyboard M-Audio Keystation 88es.
The software runs flawlessly, even with the Garritan charged four times for production Symphony. The 2006c version (French) never buggy.
The software has an infinite amount of possibilities is very impressive to see the power of production that can be with. The configuaration intuitive and easy to access features enable even beginners to navigate easily.

OVERALL OPINION
I use it for several months, and after a symphony, a symphonic poem, a dozen songs, piano pieces, etc. ... (Well short of everything) I still have not found any limits to what high-powered software that's worth the money (€ 285 new). With the best will in the world, I can not find a weak point! Perhaps the non-compatible plug-in for Finale Garritan VST with Cubase, but compréhansible ...
Before, I had version 2005d. Skip, forthe same price, quality VST, it's really a helpful development.
€ 300 for this software is an excellent price / quality ratio.
I do not regret at all the buying, and I intend to buy the 2007!
