AIR Music Technology will launch on September 1st a new synth that you can now try for free if you download it today.

The Riser is a transition tool based on a three-oscillator synthesizer. It was develop to help you create sweeps, swells, fades, reverses, rises and more, and includes 300 presets that you can edit and tweak to get you started.

The Riser uses three continuously variable oscillator: the Sweep osc features volume, frequency and wave shape controls, it will define the direction and progression of the transition (rises, falls, stops, swells, with feedback). The Noise osc adds texture to your transition, and includes volume, pitch and shape controls. Last, the Chord osc will make the effect more musical.

The Riser also includes three LFOs, including one synced to the host tempo and un Pumper effect to modulate the synthesis and add mouvement, 23 types of filter, an Invert mode that will change the transition direction, reverb and delay with dry/wet mix, a stereo width control, a pan control for the mouvements and a Randomizer that generates patches with random settings. MIDI Learn is also available for MIDI controllers.

The Riser is a VST, AU and AAX 32 and 64-bit plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows. It will be available next week for $79.99 but AIR gives you the opportunity to try it for 15 days if you download it at www.airmusictech.com. But be careful, this demo version is only available until tomorrow.
