Value For Money : Excellent
No problems with implementation, there is no release of the plugin to operate: from the moment you buy, you can download a full version directly operational.
Since this is a VST plugin, just at the time of installation to the right place (plugin directory expected by the host application) and rolling!

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

3Gz on my PC, 1 GB of RAM, I did not notice any crash of the plugin.
Being a (good) reverb, the CPU is not transparent.
But Silverspike has everything and can act on certain parameters in order to reduce CPU consumption at the expense of quality. The result is quite acceptable. In addition, when the final mixdown, we can deliver the highest quality.

OVERALL OPINION

This is a cheap reverb, with which one can obtain very good results.
The parameters are sufficient for awesome sound, and the associated graph is a little more to help better visualize what you do.
Despite its friendly price, I guess it suffers from the presence of the very friendly atmosphere of Smartelectronix plugin, which seems to have been inspired by the reverb.it since the parameters are the same, with some additional features on the Ambience ( Gate Freeze) which are not used to get a good reverb sound but correspond to particular uses.
A little more for the reverb.it this time is the graphic representation of certain parameters.
Quality level, it is undeniably very good, only large type reverbs IK Multimedia CSR Reverb Acoustic Art or represent a new qualitative leap for me.
Relative to atmosphere, I find a tad better reverb.it: on the long reverb, I prefer the way the reverb off slowly, more natural than the atmosphere, although it also has a significant softness.
It is true, it is primarily used for musical styles where the subtlety outweighs the big sound.
There is a doc that explains the function of various parameters, but I recommend to first read operation of a reverb in general, there is a good case to see here on Audiofanzine.
A word finally: For those interested I also tested and liked the reverb Acon Digital Media, named StudioVerb, which is not sold but only in a bundle called Studio Necessities (including EQ, limiter, compressor , modulator, etc. ...) for a price just above the reverb.it. From the moment we know what we do, we get a reverb StudioVerb with quality comparable to or reverb.it atmosphere. These are three reverbs to me slightly above what is obtained with a TC Native Reverb for example, which has long been a reference, but was expensive and no longer available.

Personally so I finally chose the reverb.it (a little something or more in the sound, in my opinion), its price / quality ratio is excellent, take the time to throw an ear if you find one reverb at affordable prices.
